From Suburban to SF city!!

I have a way to max. out the versatility from my wardrobe!!

My friend, Yu, asked me the other day, "You have worn your gold tulip pants bought from Rome so many times, will it be like "duplicated look" if you wear it again?"

I answered, "No, not if I wear it differently each time." ^O^ {we are talking about how I can style that gold pants with the "pleated cobalt blouse" which I wore to our girls-nite-out on Thursday evening."}

Anyhow, we have so many past season clothes that we either donate them from time to time to clean up our closet, or re-style them as many times as possible or the most practical way is to sell it and accumulate some funding for future investment of more .... "STUFF"... {Yeah, you know what I am talking about...}

Think Pink....

Didn't I say that you should stock up "PINK"!! Literally, you can't afford anything in Pink got slipped away this coming fall/winter!!

Like my new Marni darling pink cropped pants (past season 09'/10') which utilizes a great tailored and textured silhouette.  It can upgrade anyone to a of-the-moment posh look rather than retro preppy.  A pair of pants like these can certainly be dressed up or down and keep you look adorable day and night as well.

Current Fave. eco-friendly Designer: Suzuki Takayuki

After Linda Loudermilk, I have found myself another amazing eco-conscious designer : Suzuki Takayuki- from costume designer to eco-fashion designer, his collection is always so airy and intricate in details.

I am not a fashion expert but when I buy fancy {or pricey, if you must add!} I'd always like to know more about the designers and to truly appreciate a good work out of their amazing hands!

What really catches my eyes from his collection is his mastermind of building multi-layered and tiered pieces in such skillful cuts!!  (I love the pants to the far right!)

My Transitioning Outfit!!

So-much-fun is the word I can describe my outfit today~!

I often wear my clothes depending on my mood, and the first glance at some pieces in my wardrobe. They are not necessarily current fashionable pieces but my outfit would definitely denote ME-my style for sure.

20,000,000 fragmenets tweed cropped jacket

I bought this Turkish embroidery cloth cow-boy boot at half-moon-bay and they are ONE OF A KIND!!

I've heard that Turkey has a lot of vintage couture pieces from Chanel, Dior......and they are all gorgeous and "cheap"!!! A lot of couture stores are overrated here and in Pairs. :P

Have fun shopping in your closet...and don't get caught in what's-so-called FASHION!!
Have some taste!^^

How Shortie!

My friend, Isabel, finally is back from Paris. She told me that she didn't score big in Paris.  In fact, most of the on-sale stuff was plundered by too many tourists during summer, so she simply takes more time to satisfy her finely developed palate w/ good eats at Michelin restaurants and watch the most fashionable people in Paris!! ^O^

I guess that's not bad at all! And since I am expecting to visit Italy in Oct. or Nov. I'd say let all the tourists ransack Paris before Parisian start stocking up fall merchandises for me!! lol

I am in love w/ the shorts, and mini skirt and good thing about living here in North Cal. is that we can pair shorts or mini skrits w/ lots of layers at TOP half w/o having our faces smudged in the sweats. lol  Isabel  claims that all Parisian women looks trec chic in shorts w/ short boots at this moment!
