Delayed Birthday Gift From Dear Friend, Cathy!

This afternoon, my friend, Cathy, told me that she finally finished my birthday gift---her handmade necklace, just for me. I am very excited even it was for my birthday last year when my birthday of this year is like 6 mon. away. Hah!! I know, when you have an "artist" brain, inspiration is what's all about. If you don't have it, you cannot come up w/ anything. Just like me painting, it is something you cannot force yourself and expect something nice in return.

She still needs to finish the hook at two ends. But I cannot wait to share it w/ you all here.

I will show how does it looks like on me when she is actually DONE w/ it!!

Me? I shed off my upper layer of ensemble from this morning. I don't want get oil splashed while cooking. Instantly I had the feeling that this white shirt would go w/ my cropped blazer perfectly. Therefore, I asked Cathy take pic. for me while she is measuring the length of necklace for me over my house.

Feberge 18K gold w/ diamond and blue lapis, red sapphire cross necklace

Never thought those round beads would pop out a style!!

I think I need to iron that shirt!!! OR, take it to dry-clean will be easier!! Hah!

Cupcakes.. mmm

It's a shame the weather has been so horrible, but I decided to brighten it up, using my pure luxe minerals.

With a neutral eye and lip a striking pop of colour can really enhance and brighten the look :).

I also decided to treat myself to some Hummingbird cupcakes. My favourite are the red velvet, and if you have not tried them and live in London then shame on you!! They are the best dessert in the world. There is no doubt about it!!

This is their special edition handmade Valentine's cupcake. I am officially obsessed!

Nick Verreos on Grammy Awards Fashion Wrap!

On Fire!!!

Guitar Heroes: Jennifer Rade, Nick Verreos, Lisa Rinna, and Lawrence Zarian

I just finished filming my "Grammy Awards Fashion Wraps with Lisa Rinna" and it was OUT OF CONTROL!! I do not know why but we were "on fire" (I know, who says that??). We had a rip-roaring hilarious time on the set so make sure to watch tonight on the TV Guide Network. Just a warning: We were in a fightin' mood kiddies!!! Let's just say that when it comes to fashion, the red carpet and the Grammy Awards, well, we do not HOLD BACK!
It airs tonight, February 9Th, at 7, 8, 9 and 11 PM, but of course, as they say in "TV Land": Check your Local listings.

Cross necklace for the look or for your religion?

I had this Feberge cross necklace way before I met my husband and before I am baptized as a Christian.

I think Feberge is famous for its egg-shaped container design!!

Before, I always think this cross necklace is just a fashion staple but now it means more than that to me. Whenever I have this cross necklace on, I feel peaceful and pretty at the same time. It is a great feeling when you wearing something which also means something to you personally!!!

This morning, I made fry-rice for lunch and dropped the lunch boxes at school for my 2 toddlers. I also made one extra for my husband. I asked DH to take my ODJ pic. after he finished his lunch!!

Today is such a nice weather in Nor. Cal. and I guess the weather-predict predicts it wrong that it didn't rain at all.
