An Amazing hair product discovery!

The last time I paid a visit to my lovely hairdresser, Leigh, she was using some new products on my hair and I really loved the results.  After a chat, I found out that they were trying out some new products by Macadamia Natural Oil.  I will update you on the other products she used by by far my favourite product was the Healing Oil Treatment.  This stuff has made an amazing difference to my hair! It contains two of the world's rarest oils - Macadamia oil and Argan oil.
The best thing about this oil treatment is that it's so flexible in how you can use it.  You can apply it to damp hair before you style it OR you can use it sparingly once you have dried your hair in the place of a serum OR you can add it to your normal intensive conditioner OR you can apply it to the ends of your hair at night to repair damage.  I love multi-use products and this one makes my hair feel so soft, smooth and healthy.  My hair is starting to feel increasingly stronger and more 'sealed', in that, I have alot less flyaways.  This product is ideal for colour treated hair that needs an injection of moisture.
Often I find that oil based hair products can be too heavy for my fine hair but keep in mind that you only need to use half a pump of the product if you are using it before styling (also avoid applying directly to the roots and concentrate on mid lengths and ends).  This product feels lightweight in my hair and there's no sign of greasiness at all.  At this rate, the 125ml bottle is going to last for a long, long time.  The glass bottle has a really pretty design on it and also features a pump dispenser.

These products aren't cheap but if you are really into your haircare and struggle to keep your hair in good condition, then they are definitely worth a look.  The 125ml bottle is priced at £28.10 at Specialist Hair and Beauty Supplies and I think you really get your money's worth out of it since it can be used for so many things.  I will be taking this product on holiday with me so I can apply it at night time and make sure that my hair stays super hydrated.

Work it Out: Installment Neuf

I assure you no zebras were harmed in the making of this outfit ;). This shirt is definitely not for everyone, but my love of Cougar Town knows no bounds and when I saw it I had to have it. During the day I wore it with a plain black cardigan so only the collar and cuffs were on show, which toned it down and made it much less 'flashy'.
Shirt: Hawes & Curtis. Pearl cufflinks: Hawes &Curtis. Fishtale skirt: M&S.

Since it was raining (and excrutiatingly windy to the point where I had to cling on to a wall for support in my stilettos) I decided to braid my hair into a simple side swept fishtail braid. I was inspired by the numerous gorgeous, thick, tousled braids on the catwalk recently, though you definitely need quite a few wefts of clip ins to recreate the look! I made mine sleek and trapped the flyaways with lashings of Andrew Collinge serum (akin to Frizz Ease).

So tell me.. did I scare you with the satin zebra ;)? xxx

One Shoulder.... A DO tis' fall!!

I think I always love the idea of looking sexy in One Shouldered blouse/tonic/dress......as I wore ONE altered from Vintage Christian Dior to Vegas w/ my gals couple years ago.

And I kept 3 pieces in my wardrobe whenever I need them from year to year.

I was searching my blog and amazingly, I didn't realize that I have been wearing SO MANY clothes until today... ^^ But of course, I donate them year by year to keep the still growing numbers of clothes/accessories manageable.

I think finally I can see my BUTT..... CURve ~~~~ lol.
It is all worth the sweats over Yoga and TRX classes.

PS.
1). I guess I won't be shedding that $300 for Yoji's sneakers since majority think it is a NO.
Thanks to you all!!

2). Another thing is.... I placed an order through Shopbop yesterday and realizes that I didn't input the extra 20% CODE..... to get additional discount. Oh, that's a real bummer.  Hopefully their customer service can still honer me when I call them up tomorrow!!

3). Someone asked me how did I blow my hair every morning to make them "well-tamed" in that embarrassing length,.. give me some time and I shall show you my tools again! ^^

Did you work-out your butt today?!!
Have a good day.
xoxo Rachel
