Heidi! Marisa! Anastassia! It's MODELINIA Baby!

So I was watching Miss Heidi Klum on some entertainment TV show and she was teaching a reporter how to walk in high heels--Heidi did a fabulous job, but the reporter, well, not so much! She mentioned something about a new Website called Modelinia and you know I had to do some investigatin'!!!
Modelinia.com is a model, fashion, make-up and entertainment site that highlights, well, what else: Models!!! It was officially launched weeks ago during New York Fashion Week but I am so LATE in discovering it (better late than never darlings). It features various different "web shows", including a snow boarding segment with actress/model Joy Bryant, Victoria's Secret Supermodel Marisa Miller's 'Travel Tips" and one of my favorites: Spiked Heel with Heidi Klum as "The Kluminator". It is a campy cartoon-like series by filmaker Douglas Keeve ("Unzipped") starring Heidi Klum--in a sexy gold jumpsuit (did Project Runway Season 5 Winner Christian Siriano design that? Or is it a Michael Kors? Why wasn't I called?)--saving the world with a blowdryer. Yep, a BLOWDRYER!!!!
Of The Manor Born: Model Anastassia in a Ralph Lauren ad

Another favorite of mine is High Heel Bootcamp, with runway instructor extraordinaire, model Anastassia Khozissova. Anastassia has been modeling for 10 years and has graced the Paris, New York and Milan runways of every top designer, including Ralph Lauren (she was his "muse" for a while), John Galliano for Dior (she looks unrecognizable in his Haute Couture creations) as well as Jean Paul Gaultier and many, many others. In one segment Simon Doonan, Barneys NY Creative Director (and DIVA), hosts as two very young ingenue models arrive in NY for a catwalk traning session with Miss Anastassia. What does she do next? She makes them walk on a gymnast's balance beam. When they fall off, Miss I-Should-Have-Been-A-Romanian-Gymnast-Teacher Khozissova, shouts "Do you want to be a model? Then get back on!" I love it! Click HERE for all the Model Mayhem.

Take Runway into Real way!!

This is Lanvin's spring/summer runway look.

I love all the clean cut of their tops and cute yet elegant drape skirt. That's the trend for this spring/summer and you pretty much can buy similar style from every brand. When something is a trend, every designer or non-designer apparel must have a collection of it. Yes, they need to make money, and they need to sell!!!!

I think it is time for me to find a drape skirt too!!!

I had similar necklace made w/ beads and rose embroidery!! I found it is so versatile that it goes perfectly w/ some of my tops w/o being overwhelmed or compete w/ my ensemble. I love it!! Yes, style for less!!

I love the necklace against the ruched deco. of gray top !!


I don't have too dramatic clothes so it is easy to mix-n-match everything together!!


If I want a drama look, I will find one specifically for the occasion!!

MAC Hello Kitty and Grand Duos

First thing this morning I literally sprinted to selfridges for the MAC Hello Kitty event. Finally after waiting for months (why is the UK so sloooow?) I could get my greedy mitts on it :). I was also pleasantly surprised that the grand duo blush and mineralize skinfinishes were out today too so of course I had to get one :). Yay!I got tippy blush, too dolly quad, pink fish lip conditioner and fashion mews lipstick (modelled by Maxim).I also picked up the Moon River grand duo.. really unique and very pretty :).

Please keep your fingers crossed for my bf playing in Varsity tonight! Good luck baby!
