It is chill in the morning so I can bear that big collar, BLOODY red sweater.

It is getting too warm at noon and I had to shade off that sweater.  Accordingly, change the heels.

NIKOLAKI at Fashion's Night Out L.A. After Party Fashion Show at Industry Nightclub!

LA's Golden Fashion

As we all know, two Friday's ago was Fashion's Night Out all over the US--as well as abroad. While I was hosting my Macy's Fashion's Night Out Fashion Show and Party in Miami, our NIKOLAKI dresses were being shown at the official Fashion's Night Out LA After Party at one of the hottest nightclubs, Industry. Stylist Arturo D. Chavez visited our new NIKOLAKI Studio in Atwater Village area of LA and took some dresses for the "Gallery Style" Fashion Presentation: A Gold silk lurex bias-cut one-shoulder gown with Swarovski crystal pin, and...

A one-shoulder ruffled cocktail dress, also in gold silk lurex. My NIKOLAKI co-designer, David Paul and I were excited to be included amongst other notable LA designers, including Project Runway Season 4 Finalist Rami Kashou.

Nick Verreos and the Winning Fashion's Night Out L.A. t-shirt, FIDM LA Campus

Weeks ago I filmed a PSA for L.A.'s Fashion's Night Out and even interviewed the winning designer of the official t-shirt, a Graphic Design Student from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandise/FIDM (where I am an Instructor of course!). Even though I wasn't able to attend or be part of LA's Fashion's Night Out events, I was there "in spirit", well, in the form of my gowns and cocktail dresses.

A Post to Scare the Boyfriend...

Though I may not be in the market for a wedding dress...
I'm not sure how I stumbled on these during my nightly surfing, but now I can't take my eyes off them and just had to share them with you! If I could draw (and sew) these would be the pieces I would aspire to design - classic, feminine, decadent and flattering. These dresses are so beautiful they take my breath away.
All these stunning gowns are designed by Suzanne Neville, who also custom makes outfits for the X-Factor, as seen on Stacey below.
I think I may have found the one.. now let's just hope she is still making bridal gowns in 2090... mmmhhmmm ;). xxx
