I haven't told my DH that I bought this Chloe Sally yet, so today is the day. Well, I only bought it yesterday so I am not trying to hide it from him anyway. :) I placed my orange Sally aside by my matte white Chanel reissue since I carried it out yesterday. DH came home and finally saw it and asked. I told him that it is on sale and really is not a big spending for $700 while it, in fact, is $1148 before tax. lol Although there is $400 lie there I know it's a necessary. White lie? YES!! I know for $400 less than the real price I told him will buy me/us a peaceful weekend and he won't feel the "pressure" at all. hahahahahaha.... Between me and DH, I think he nags a lot...I mean a lot no matter big or small things!!! haha......


I have a pair of same shade orange slingback sandal from Michael Michael Kors.


Then I think Luna Stella gladiator heels might work w/ Sally in a fun way.


I think the more you carry your bag, the better you know what to pair it w/. :)

Never Stock Up Your Fashion Buy!! (1)

You must heard of Stocking Up Your Favorite Cosmetics NOW when things on sale all the time!! The normal shelf life of any cosmetics is 5 years w/o open. I don't really stock up anything but make-up remover. I can NOT PUTTING ON ANY CREAM or MAKE-UPS for a week but I certainly can't sleep w/ the make-ups on ONE NIGHT. lol It'll be like I am doing the opposite to my skin .... applying all the serum to fight for losing collagen while leaving chemical to age my skin at the same time. Besides, what's the point of stocking up all the creams when they constantly go on sale these days and at certain point you might end of forgetting you already had them!!!

For things such as clothes, shoes, and bags....I never stock them up. Not even for ONE month!!! Maybe it is because I don't have big wardrobe to rotate so I wear NEW BUY right away. I konw lots of my darling gal friends have way too many clothes, shoes than I do. They can always dig out NEW/UNWORE stuff to wear and claim those are bought like year(s) ago. For me, I feel it is pretty amazing and I often think they must have a magical closet or something like Doraemon's 任意門? How I wish I can dig out new stuff everytime when step into our closet. haha......

Yesterday.




The Max Mara clog stiletto is very high and I had to sit down for a rest!! My friend and I went to Emeryville in oakland yesterday to shop for some home decor. They have IKEA, EQ3, Pottery barn, West elm, ......etc. in the neighborhood. I didn't sign up summer school for my older kids so I am taking them everywhere w/ me. I have to came up a place to take them for a field trip everyday before their 2 weeks summer camp starting at next week.

Loreal Studio Secrets Range

Ok, so why didn't I know about this and how long has it been out for???I don't have a huge amount of Loreal make-up but I've found a few gems among their different ranges (Glam Bronze, Metallic Eyeshadows, Glamshine lipgloss) so I always like to check out what they have on the go! This range is apparently designed to give you a 'photo finish' look so the products are supposed to be long lasting and create a flawless appearance (we like, we like!)

I was perusing the Boots website and came across the Loreal Studio Secrets range (exclusively available online)...a small range but some of the products caught my eye and I just wondered if anyone had tried them out yet?

I have a load of primers but, in my usual makeup obsessive mode, I always buy more in case I miss out on a great product. I currently use Lancome La Pro Base Smoothing Primer (approx £24), which can be quite pricey so I'm wondering if the Loreal one (£11.99) on the left could be a possible dupe...It looks similar to the jar of Laura Gellar Spackle Primer you get, which I tried in the past and didnt like very much. Hopefully this one will be more promising!

The Anti-Dull Skin Primer (£9.99) pictured on the right is also something I want to try in the never ending quest for flawless skin! They also offer an anti-shine or anti-redness formulation as well.

Everyone loves a good lipgloss (especially nude and pink shades in my case!) and I'm intrigued by the Loreal Ultra Glossy Lip Lacquer (£7.99) in Nude 411 and Pink 221 and possibly also Coral 831. I have tons and tons of lipgloss, they spill out of every pocket of every coat and every bag I own is crammed with them...it's ridiculous but I don't need to explain myself to any of you because we all seem to have the same illness!I think I'm among fellow addicts here!ha ha.

The Studio Secrets Lipsticks in the pink and nude shades also look very nice (£8.99)

I may end up just buying the whole range!

Where I'll be for the next week...

So a few of you know that I'm heading off on holiday tomorrow to Sicily for a week (I've only mentioned it, like, a billion times.ha ha). I can't wait! I've been checking the weather all week and it's jumping between 30oC and 35oC...which is very hot for a Scottish lass like me but I've stocked up on my factor 40 SPF (I know that seems high but I can't stand burning my skin and at least this way, I will tan gradually). I love having a tan but I'm not willing to risk skin cancer or ageing my skin prematurely to get one!There are far two many gorgeous self tanner products out there to be doing that so there's no excuse anymore. I have posted a pic above of the view from the villa we have rented...you can see the volcano, Mount Etna in the background...it's supposed to glow at night! How cool is that?! We are supposed to be going on a sunset jeep ride up the volcano which I'm really looking forward to!


I have also posted pics above of the hilltop villa we have rented so you can get an idea of where I will be for the next week (me..smug? never!). It is private so we get the terrace with a BBQ all to ourselves so that will be great for chilling out in the evenings. I will let you know how I got on when I get back and there will hopefully be alot of Duty Free haulin' going on too (the boyfriend may not be too happy about being dragged around duty free but hey ho!) .

They also have alot of exclusive clothes and make-up boutiques in the town we are staying in so I will also check out the brands they have in those shops to see if I can find anything exciting and new! If I do, I will buy a couple of each and do a contest (I have promised to do this when I hit 100 followers so tell all your friends to follow me and the contest will be held sooner rather than later!ha ha). I'm planning on doing a rather generous contest so keep your eyes peeled for that...
