Knock Myself Out!!

This week I didn't sign up my kids for any camp activities....then I realized it is a big mistake.

I was totally knocked out by now around 10:30 PM after whole days activities including shopping, dinning at Santana Row w/ friends then came home to cook dinner and while DH took Abby for swimming class at 7:00 PM, I took Niel and Ilona to do Power Yoga. Of course, I don't have to watch Niel and Ilona when doing yoga, I finally have a piece of quite moment all by myself.

I was still trying to level the exhaustion down by doing Power yoga in the evening, but I'm no superwoman, I am going to call it a day!! lol

Kids stop by lululemon at Santana Row where I once shopped for yoga suit. They remember back of the store has a small area full of toys, book and some pretend custome.

We dined at The village and when the receptionist asked how many of us, I feel kinda of embarrassed to tell him that we have 3 adults and 6 kids. I assume most restaurant won't expect this many kids unless it is a kid's party!! haha......

Waiting for mommy friends and kid's arrival for lunch at The Village!!

Swap with LipstickRules a.k.a. Michelle

I got my swap stuff today Michelle! Yah! I love coming home to parcels! We decided to send eachother products that were exclusive to our countries so we could try out some new stuff we wouldn't normally have access to. Swapping is so much fun!

Unfortunately, the bronzer and blue eyeshadow got a bit damaged in the mail from Canada but I can easily sort that :)
So here's a quick rundown of what Michelle kindly sent me:

1) Quo Sun Kissed Bronzing powder

2)Quo Swirl Gloss in Tiger Tail

3) Quo Cooling Gel Shadow in Tundra

4)Joe Fresh Cheek Tint in Bronze

5) Joe Fresh Eyeshadow in Petrol

6) BonneBell LipLites in Cappuccino

7) Anabelle Eyeshadows in Suedine & 121

I will be trying these babies out asap and I'll let you know how I get on!

I sent my swap stuff to Michelle yesterday so you may see a post from her at the weekend about it. If you don't follow her blog, go check it out now, it's one of my faves! www.lipstickrules.blogspot.com.

Thanks for the goodies Michelle!

Ins and Outs

I had a few little things to list in my first 'Ins & Outs' so here goes...

INS

1) Reaching 100 followers - I was so so so excited to see that I now have 100 people following me. I never thought when I started this blog that so many people would be reading the stuff I was rambling on about. I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who follows me and I really do appreciate every one of you. I hope you all have a go at my Miss World contest!

2) Mac Select Cover Up Concealer in NC20 - I have been using this since I got it the other day and I love it so far. It gives good coverage under my eyes without being too heavy and you only need a tiny bit. I'm applying it with my usual concealer brush and it's working a treat! It also covers any redness or spots and lasts all day.

3) Mac MSF in Natural (Medium) - I got this in the same haul as the concealer and I have to say that this is the best powder I have ever used. I had read Vex In The City's blog (Yinka) and she had said it gives you a matte but glowy complexion...I couldn't work out how a product could do that but....it does! I love it. I just set my makeup with it and use a kabuki brush to buff it in. It just gives such a lovely finish, no powdery look or cakey skin. I need a back up now!

4) Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2 in 1 Wash/Mask - I had read so much about this product but had never really looked into it. I was in Boots at the weekend and decided to get some and I'm so glad I did. My skin on my face got a bit blocked up on holiday with sunscreen and I got a few spots so this was the perfect experiment to see if this wash worked the wonders that people claimed it did. I have used it every morning and night this week and my skin is now back to it's former glory...no spots!yah! I will definitely repurchase this stuff as it's brilliant if you get a breakout.

5) Weight Loss - I have been going to the gym 5 times a week since the start of February and I have now lost a total of 25lbs, which I'm quite proud of. I'm not on any sort of diet, I just watch what I eat. I'm pretty much averaging a loss of 1-2lbs per week now. I still have little treats so there's no depriving myself of anything. I'm feeling more confident each week and I'm going to keep going until I am super fit. I'm not focused on being any particular clothes size or even a particular weight as I measure my muscle and fat percentages, I just want to be toned and healthy. At least if I do it slowly and sensibly, I won't have to go on some mad diet before the wedding!

OUTS

1) Weather - Where has the sunshine and hot weather gone??? I am very disappointed that the sun decided to take his hat off :( I have a BBQ this Saturday and I was hoping for blazing sunshine. I will be wearing that Coral Monsoon dress I posted recently so hopefully the weather will improve!

2) Hairtype - I hate the fact that I have fine hair. Whenever I see girls with luscious thick wavy manes of hair, I get so jealous. I was born with dark blonde, fine hair and there's only so much volume I can get into it before it drops again. I am now on a mission to find a product which will thicken my tresses and also hold my style when I curl it with my new Babylis Conical wand (this could possibly become my best friend coz my hair looks twice as thick when it's wavy/curly). If you have any recommendations for good styling products that provide great volume, let me know!I will be using the 24 hour body mousse I got from Tresemme in the meantime as I was quite impressed with it.

Fragrance Direct Sale!

I just thought I would let you all know that www.fragrancedirect.co.uk are having a summer sale at the moment and alot of the products are half price! Since it's summer and the sun is shining (in most places) I thought one of the best deals was Roc Minesol Sun Protection Cream SPF 50+ for the face. It's only £3.95 for 15ml down from £14.95. I've used this face sunscreen before and it's great for preventing sunburn and because of the high SPF, you don't have to worry that you're damaging the delicate skin on your face. It's great to pop in your case when you go on holiday too.

The next good deal I spotted was Loreal NutriSummer gradual tanner for the face. It's only £2.50 for 50ml, down from £7.99 (why do they always make it more expensive when it's specifically for the face???). Anyways, I used to use this before I used the Dove gradual tanner. Although I am currently using the Dove one and love it, I still really like this product and found that it gave me a really natural golden glow and also smoothed out my skin at the same time. The smell is actually ok with this tanner as well. At that bargainous price, who could say no???
The next bargain I spotted for all you St Tropez devotees out there was the Tanning Essentials Gift Set originally priced at £51.00 and now reduced to £23.50! It contains 240ml Body Polish, 240ml Body Moisturiser and 150ml Bronzing Mist with a foam applicator.
I normally prefer the St Tropez Mousse but I have used the mist before. I found that it's easier to spray the mist directly into your hand to apply it otherwise you end up with tanning mist all over the bathroom floor and ultimately, you end up with the soles of your feet going orange! I'm speaking from personal experience!ha ha
For all my US/Canadian/Australian followers, they do deliver outside of Europe but I would say that once they have added those charges, it isn't really worth it. It's £3.99 for the first item and then £3.49 for each additional item!
