Nick Verreos thinks Marriage Equality Is Fashionable!!!

Last year, I had the amazing grace to meet the Montgomery-Duban family. I was at an event and the most beautiful young girl, by the name of Chelsea, approached me--well, it was actually the fabulous Ugly Betty actress Judith Light, who came up to me, and introduced us. She was the daughter of Kevin Montgomery and Dennis Duban--yes: TWO DADS!!! (how 2009!!!) and they professed their love of my designs and Project Runway. They also confessed that they were getting married and wanted me to create their daughter's gown. Soon after, the emails and phone calls came in, and before I knew it, I was sketching designs and having fittings with the beautiful Chelsea. It's not the norm for me to "come out" with who my private clients are however this is something that I was proud to have been commissioned to do. My NIKOLAKI design partner, David Paul and I, designed a one of a kind raspberry silk duchesse satin fitted strapless gown with hand-encrusted Swarovski crystals for Chelsea and she looked STUNNING. The Montgomery-Duban Wedding was INCREDIBLE. Not just because of our gown but because of the fact that her fathers had been together for over a quarter of a century and it was amazing to finally celebrate their union!
Here is a newly-surfaced video of our new "niece" at her dad's wedding that I think you need to see--it has gotten hundreds of hits on Facebook and other sites, and still brings tears to our eyes. And she just happens to look FABULOUSLY CHIC, in our custom NIKOLAKI gown!

Day 4 Blazer + Leggings w/ Kay Park again!!

What's the look of studs, animal print and sequins combination?!!!

Ok, hope it is not ON me!!

I picked pieces w/ subtle studs and mini sequins and put them together this morning and they turns out great. Well, at least I think so!! :)

I am going to stop by fabric store to see if I can find something which has studs on and I am going to DIY something fun. Oh, if only I can find it!! :P

So here we go ..... couple of my friends really love this Kay Park gray blazer so I put together an ensemble again just to make them drool over more. ha ha ha...~

You know, I am very grateful that she didn't criticize a single word more. :)


I tried pairing Givenchy chain ankle boots outside but think the gray blazer still looks better w/ a pair of tall boots.

Now I am thinking of a pair of knee-high boots!!!! hee he..... Are you thinking of the same thing as I am??




I like this look even more than couple days ago when pairing w/ fishnet shirt n' Hudson jeans.
Probably just because my top looks very subtle w/ mono-toned gray and then it gets so eye-catching (busy) at lower body!!

Oh, we don't normally wear any shoes inside the house, heels/boots is only for modeling purpose.

Just heard from the radio that it is not very hygienic w/ all the dirt on your shoes you could possibly step in the house w/ you. You know how yucky it is if you put everything under a microscope!!! :P

You know, it is hilarious that Ilona just poses whatever pose she could come up w/ . :P

Ok, time to pick up my daughter from school and stop by Joanne fabric!!!

Celebs Without Makeup!

Hey Beauties!

Today's post is a great example of the power of makeup. I am a firm beleiver that everyone woman (and sometimes Men) could benefit from makeup. It's really amazing what a little concealer and an eyebrow pencil will do to a face.

I think that Adrianna Lima is the prettiest of all of them without makeup on. Of course, don't we all wish we had those stunning eyes and gorgeous lips? I do!
