Window Shopping w/ me! Brown Boots Like My Chloe & More: Biker Leather Vest!!

It was fun for me to play dress-up on the mannequin yesterday. So today, I thought why not trying out things on the mannequin in the store and see if I have something similar at home. If I don't try them out on me then I probably won't end of buying them impulsively. hee~~

Sure it works for me as I didn't get anything from Nordi. today after done playing w/ those pretty pieces. Hooray!!!

Here are couple things I found interesting. I didn't bother go to big designers collection as I want to find something cute and w/ a charming price tag. Oh, they are not that dirt cheap but they will be w/ the store promotion, discount, friends&family event in the near future. So watch closely for things you want in the department stores as they are gone very fast!!!!

1. "Tory Burch" brown boots. $475

It is actually not as shiny brown as shown under flash here.
I also like the little ruched look w/ button pin.

It looks so similar to my Chloe wedge boots which I adore so much.

My beloved brown Chloe boots.

2. "June" Dark brown biker leather vest $342.

This is a classic look and the leather quality looks n' touches very nicely.

3. Robert Rodriquez wool sleeveless cardigan $385.

It comes w/ a sequined scarf in asymmetrical design.

I can see it being layered inside a coat or trench for extra chic and warm!!

This is a look from my friend, Yu, w/ her brilliant pairing skill. :)
The easy spirit of coat n' cardigan!!

MY ODJ!!

Can't believe I already wear my Emporio Armani tuxedo coat before Nov.!!

4. "Beyond Vintage" cream embroidery blouse $202.

This is ONE THING in my wishlist. :)

I have a weakness on embroidery and cream/white blouse or just plain Victoria style blouse.

5. Robbi & Nikki Sequin Drape Cardigan $231.

6. (INSIDE) Robert Rodrique light taupe/cream wrinkled top $285.

I think they are gorgeous pairing together. :)

Hope you had fun w/ me!!!

Have a fabulous weekend!!!

Somehow I never manage to get it right...

This is what I wore yesterday for a dinner and movie date in Cambridge. Unfortunately I did not dress for the right weather as when we were walking home it was 5oC and I absolutely froze!! Having these kind of temperatures in October really makes me wonder about global warming... After catching the train back this morning I spent the rest of the day tucked up in bed with a cup of tea, hoping to catch my developing cold in its early stages.

Dress: Asos
Belt: Taken off a Mango dress from last season
Leopard print tights: M&S
I am also wearing flat black knee high boots from Dune.

However, the worst part of my trip was that I unfortunately managed to mistakenly take my bf's glasses with me back to London, and since he desperately needs them tomorrow I will be spending my entire Saturday on the train. To say that I am annoyed would be an understatement, but at least I will be well prepared with my thermals on this time!!

Nick Verreos Project Runway Recap on MyLifetime.com

Beer Bust, Cher and Divorcees?Yeah, it's Project Runway--what else would it be? This episode started out with the "Oh no, not ANOTHER re-hashed Wedding Dress" Challenge but with the flash of a "Heidi Klum Smile", it took an unexpected--and delightful design U-turn. The challenge was to re-create a divorcee's old (and rather tacky) wedding dress and turn it into a fashionable new look. As usual, some succeeded and some did not. But it wouldn't be Project Runway without the train wrecks now would it?

The Highlights:--Stuck on Oktoberfest: What happened this week? Logan AND Epperson went to Oktoberfest Land. There was a lot of Bavaria going on and Heidi spotted it like a German Hawk!
Feathers: Cher in her Bob Mackie-designed Native American Costume

--Shirin Almost Had a Cher Moment
: Her client wanted Cher, but my Persian Princess Shirin Askari decided to nix the peacock feathers and do some Trapunto-like stitching instead--and it worked out. The judges loved it. But part of me still wished to see a Native American Cher a la Bob Mackie.
Christopher Straub's Divorcee design reminded me of...
Dolce and Gabbana Fall 2007

--I'm afraid for Christopher
Straub: I give him props for being "self taught", but his design aesthetic seems to be faultering unfortunately. I didn't necessarily love his Bustle Prom Dress with a Back Bib (Costume Challenge), then he had that dress Michael Kors called a "Disco Pumpkin" (Macy's INC Challenge) and now a Hefty bag tied at the waist? The design did remind me of Dolce and Gabbana Fall '07, from THREE years ago! But I still really like him. I'm a sucker for the tears.
--I loved Carol Hannah Whitfield's and what she did to that tulle, but yes, Gordana Gelhausen rocked it this week!
