A Venture to Oakland, California.

Rockridge is a residential neighborhood and commercial district in Oakland, California. It's also known for being one of the wealthiest parts of Oakland. ...The main thoroughfare in Rockridge is College Avenue. The College Avenue strip running through Rockridge is home to more than 80 restaurants, cafes and upscale retail stores, including several bookstores specializing in used and rare books....[quote] ......Rockridge is often mentioned in tourist guidebooks on Oakland and the East Bay.[quote] -- WIKIPEDIA

Yesterday Irene's family and we ventured to Oakland and Berkeley for Niel and Heidi's art teachers' Bay Area Talented Artists Opening Ceremony at Berkeley Are Center. Since I have never been to Oakland so it is quite exciting to me as well. ^^

There are so many cute shops, funky shops and cheap shops for clothes, furnitures, kitchen ware....

The hunting of RED Chanels!!!

Photobucket
Patent Classic medium (L) and Patent Reissue Large w/ Ruthenium chain (R).

Photobucket
$3700 (L) and $3400 (R)!! @@

They both are still TOO small for my mom's needs!

Photobucket
They are equally pretty but depends on how you dress up w/ them.

Photobucket
$3500 Classic Jumbo in Dark RED; the color didn't come up right.
It is, in fact, darker than the picture shown here.

Photobucket
Caviar classic jumbo is my MOM's first choice but I have to figure out if she likes this DARK red!!!

Chanel's new collection did little to revive my waning interest in buying those insanely priced RED bags. Even if I do, it is for my MOM. :P

Where I have been?

Hermes!!!!

I don't know what got into me that I was drawn by the pattern of horses' print in camouflage colors so much.

ON me on Saturday.

(inside layer) Lilith checked apron cover-up w/ pockets
Max Co. reversible two colored tank sweater
No brand taupe long sweater vest

2. Bottom:
Lilith Graham Tartan slacks w/ pockets

3. Accessory:
Elfi Altendorfer's purple crystal necklace
Chanel Rodeo Drive large tote in Perforated leather 08'

4. Shoes:
Michael Kors eyelet oxford lace-up boots w/ velvet ribbon tie

Photobucket
In the city, you can always pile on clothes layer by layer and skip the jacket if you forgot!

Photobucket
What's so interesting about the pants is that it has side buttons and you can leave it for big voluminous look or button it up.
Plus, the classic tartan prints and color allow me to wear it all year around in the bay area. ^^

Photobucket
 200 million fragments tweed jacket
Anne Valerie Hash Pink/taupe brogues
Lilith no toe socks
Chanel mini black caviar flap
Reversal wearing Max Co. tank sweater.

In the suburban of North Cal. layering is not required in the current season but jacket is always great to have in hand for keeping-you-warm in the supermarket and looking-stylish when you are out.

Have fun the rest of summer.

One Shoulder.... A DO tis' fall!!

I think I always love the idea of looking sexy in One Shouldered blouse/tonic/dress......as I wore ONE altered from Vintage Christian Dior to Vegas w/ my gals couple years ago.

And I kept 3 pieces in my wardrobe whenever I need them from year to year.

I was searching my blog and amazingly, I didn't realize that I have been wearing SO MANY clothes until today... ^^ But of course, I donate them year by year to keep the still growing numbers of clothes/accessories manageable.

I think finally I can see my BUTT..... CURve ~~~~ lol.
It is all worth the sweats over Yoga and TRX classes.

PS.
1). I guess I won't be shedding that $300 for Yoji's sneakers since majority think it is a NO.
Thanks to you all!!

2). Another thing is.... I placed an order through Shopbop yesterday and realizes that I didn't input the extra 20% CODE..... to get additional discount. Oh, that's a real bummer.  Hopefully their customer service can still honer me when I call them up tomorrow!!

3). Someone asked me how did I blow my hair every morning to make them "well-tamed" in that embarrassing length,.. give me some time and I shall show you my tools again! ^^

Did you work-out your butt today?!!
Have a good day.
xoxo Rachel
