The hunting of RED Chanels!!!

Photobucket
Patent Classic medium (L) and Patent Reissue Large w/ Ruthenium chain (R).

Photobucket
$3700 (L) and $3400 (R)!! @@

They both are still TOO small for my mom's needs!

Photobucket
They are equally pretty but depends on how you dress up w/ them.

Photobucket
$3500 Classic Jumbo in Dark RED; the color didn't come up right.
It is, in fact, darker than the picture shown here.

Photobucket
Caviar classic jumbo is my MOM's first choice but I have to figure out if she likes this DARK red!!!

Chanel's new collection did little to revive my waning interest in buying those insanely priced RED bags. Even if I do, it is for my MOM. :P

Where I have been?

Hermes!!!!

I don't know what got into me that I was drawn by the pattern of horses' print in camouflage colors so much.
Photobucket

ON me on Saturday.

1. Top:
(inside layer) Lilith checked apron cover-up w/ pockets
Max Co. reversible two colored tank sweater
No brand taupe long sweater vest

2. Bottom:
Lilith Graham Tartan slacks w/ pockets

3. Accessory:
Elfi Altendorfer's purple crystal necklace
Chanel Rodeo Drive large tote in Perforated leather 08'

4. Shoes:
Michael Kors eyelet oxford lace-up boots w/ velvet ribbon tie

Photobucket
In the city, you can always pile on clothes layer by layer and skip the jacket if you forgot!

Photobucket
What's so interesting about the pants is that it has side buttons and you can leave it for big voluminous look or button it up.
Plus, the classic tartan prints and color allow me to wear it all year around in the bay area. ^^

Photobucket
 200 million fragments tweed jacket
Anne Valerie Hash Pink/taupe brogues
Lilith no toe socks
Chanel mini black caviar flap
Reversal wearing Max Co. tank sweater.

In the suburban of North Cal. layering is not required in the current season but jacket is always great to have in hand for keeping-you-warm in the supermarket and looking-stylish when you are out.

Have fun the rest of summer.

Random Diary... A day in the SF city!!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
A yellow scarf!!!
Mine is a bargain $19.99 from Anthro. but this one is silk mixed w/ cashmere.....$129. I'd go for a Deal then. ^O^

Photobucket
They also carry Isabel Marat collection. ^^

Photobucket
I like the flow or ripple-like looking of Renee's cardigan.

Have a restful Monday at home!
Shall we!!? ^^

Fashion = Dessert !?

Photobucket
Those yummy macaroons are made by mixing up different kinds of tea w/ other flavors.

Photobucket
Pink, purple, black and brown (caramel) macaroons.

Photobucket
Yellow, red and light brown macaroons.

Photobucket
White macaroons are made of Morocco mint + green tea flavor!

Aren't those colorful macaroon looking adorable n' delicious lining up here!! ^^

Thanks to the FOOD industry, I'd pick up whatever delights me at the first sight w/o worrying much of going wrong w/ the choices.

However, the vagaries of fashion industry would confuse people so much that I sometimes have a hard time understanding the aesthetic underpinning for such a so-called fashionable statement/looks. Ah, perhaps I would categorize those as the eerily work of art to me!:P

Today is the second day as we family are back in USA.  I am trying my best to help my kids cope w/ the jet lag. There are a lot of summer activities awaits for my kids starting next week so I have to make sure they are ready by then!

What's the plan to keep them awake during the day?

Sunshine!!! ^^

A lot of sunshine will keep them awake so we went up to SF city this morning.

Photobucket

Photobucket
And I like the unexpected KW pink sunglasses better.

Photobucket
The shade is actually very dark and you almost can see that brown hue in this wine Christian Louboutin Bianca 140 mm heels.

This CL Bianca I picked up this morning will never be my first choice if I ever saw her on the shelf. But w/ the sale price and surprisingly elegant and cheerful look than black ones, I'd go for this pair as my wardrobe staple.

Photobucket
This pair has similar color as YSL's new fall patent wine/purple pumps.

Photobucket
W/ my ODJ, nice looking. I think!

Ilona is very hyper when we were in SF city.
She started dancing on the sidewalk when she heart drum/music people played by the street.

Now, would you please excuse moi!!
z..z...zzzzzz.....zzzzzzzzz

Sheer and Crab!!

No, they are not related to each other at all!

Aren't these Ted Baker little coin purse w/ snap-closure cute or what!!
Photobucket

Photobucket
This is the little CRAB I was talking about! A cooked one! ^O^

I never thought a sheered dress/cover-up could make this military look so macho yet fun at the same time.  Those sheered dresses/cover-ups are so versatile.  I had a red sheered dress from Y-3 runway, but I always wanted one w/ buttons all the way down like this. :)............... I am blathering here..... hah.........

Photobucket

Photobucket
I personally think a sheered something or even a veil kind accessory can be a wardrobe essential if you know how to style them!!

My ODJ.
Photobucket
Here I piled up 4 necklaces, vintage silver chain, Fallon spike necklace, mini brass disc (Anthro.) and Flying Lizard Design turquoise.

Photobucket

Photobucket
1. Top:
  • Lilith polk dot sheered dress
  • Vince box-shaped shirt
2. Bottom: Dolce Vita jeans legging w/ holes
3. Accessory:
above.
Chanel 08' large Rodeo Drive tote in perforated style
4. Shoes:
09' fall Proenza Schouler platform cap toe pump w/ wooden heels

Photobucket

Photobucket
I deliberately mis-placed the buttons on the dress to create drapes.

Photobucket
Now, are you convinced to get yourself a sheered dress!? ^O^

Tomorrow we are cooking beef noodle soup... Stay tuned!!
Please don't forget the GIVEAWAY..........

xoxo Rachel
