An Ensemble That Could Never Go Wrong!!!

I went to WholeFoods market today to start my food shopping for Valentine's party this weekend.  Then a girl came to me n' said that she has to comment on my outfit ..... Very sharp!! 

I smiled back n' said Thank you!!

......... then I was thinking....... This outfit would compliment almost everyone in my opinion. Oh, yes, I know you are going to say because I have "LEGS" so I can wear shorts...blah blah...blah......

The truth is...

Pick up a cropped, or Bermuda, or just a slim legged trousers...or whichever would elongate your whole proportion even if you don't have "legs" but definitely choose a pair of pants which makes you feel confident or even a bit cocky.  haha......

The key is....


The right attitude....  (just like my friend, Catherine said!!) 
Maybe wear your clothes like you are acting-feeling the clothes..... I don't know... .. use some imagination here!! ^O^

Fabulous Looking of Two things: Fur Vest + Givenchy Wedge Boots!

Not just couple of my friends can't stand my back view of a horizontal line hair-do, now even I can't stand it either. The winter clothes made the short bob look so fussy w/ the turtle-neck, fur, .... around the neck. I guess that's why some hair stylists would not suggest having short hair for winter......

The problem of keeping a shoulder length hair-do is that I have to trim it more often or to let my friends nag for 6 months to let the hair grow to a longer mid-length instead!! Either way, it is like pain in the a**! :P So finally, I went back to my stylist for a proper restyle of my hair. ... hum.... it looks more voluminousness!!! 


As usual, I always get new hair product to properly maintain my new hair-do every time!!

Knee-high Boots?!! Nay, just Look Alike!!

After yesterday's staying low for not taking so many pic. of myself, I decided to take it to DH and have him do the dirty work for me. lol

Oh,...no, not dirt work!!

I must say if my in-laws saw DH taking pic. of me, they wouldn't say anything anymore. DH loves me very much and I am glad that he knows being supportive of this thing is so important to me too. :)

I am stilling feeling my hair. I felt that I look much younger w/ this simple hair do. There is a slightly bias cut from back to the front, maybe a long bob I could say.

I've never done this before!! I mean when I am furious, I never go have a hair cut since it would be like killing me twice! :P However, I do realize it is so helpful to clam my rage by simply transforming to a different look this time!!

I am still in search for a knee-high boots randomly. Nothing caught my eyes though!!

Now since I am very pleased by the almost like thigh-high boots look of Aqua leather leggings + Givenchy chain wedge booties, the knee-high boots can wait. :)

oh, I just start doing TRX last week and it feels great, great, great!!!!!! All I need now is to tone up my muscles more and work on my target of having 4 or 6 packs muscles!! ha ha ha.. oh, well, I don't know who am I fooling though. ha ha...

Anyway, you girls should try TRX!! It uses your own body weight to build your own muscle up and is amazingly effective!!! You almost can see the result right away if you do it correctly!!!

I am going to TRX for 45 mins. and then Power Yoga for an hour tonight!!!

Blazer + Leggings!! The Ultimate Two Things for tis' Fall/Winter.

No matter your figures are tall, petite, chubby, muscular, skinny, slender, pear shape, boyish shape, apple shape or curvy shape, ......etc., must you have two up-to-date pieces in your wardrobe for this fall/winter --- blazer and Leggings. Seriously, they are an instant eye-catching outfit and never could go wrong on any type of body figure!!!

I just completed my blazer collection yesterday by adding ONE gray blazer/tuxedo style/jacket in my wardrobe. If you know me way back since last year, you must see my tuxedo style Emporio Armani wool jacket which I wore them to Paris last Nov. 2008. So pick a classic color such as black, gray, white or camel, it will be classic no matter what the style is!! ( I strongly believe that! :) )

A local market next to the apartment we stayed in Pairs 2008.

Most my ensembles when visiting Pairs are leggings/pants tucked inside boots and that wool jacket. I never thought I had one single boring pic. for that trip!! :)

After you fab. girls vote from yesterday, I decided to wear just blazer and leggings for the rest of this week!!! Oh, can I do that? huh...? Let's see then!!!!!

Thursday is Ilona's busiest day, she has painting class in the morning and swimming class in the evening.
Considering she is only 2 yrs. old and 2 months. :) Hum...maybe I should sign her up for modeling!!! ha ha ha.. JK!!


I don't know if weather is the #1 culprit for to blame for Ilona's Eczema back in the March, it seems all gone until next year!! (I should keep my finger crossed) :)


A simple feminine coral color dress would really soften the assume-to-be boyish look of blazer and leggings outfit.

Do you girls know what's the color would most flatter your skin tone?

I am not talking about eye-shadows. (the colors of best eyeshadow for you are different from clothes you put on and I know neutral color like brown, taupe, camel would flatter most woman's eye)

Why do I ask? I am desperately looking for the answer myself recently because of my acting class. You know, when you can't do whole black outfit or even black n' white outfit for audition, picking a perfect ensemble is a hard task!!!

I can answer what colors I like easily but when I seriously think what colors of outfits would compliment me, I stunned. I would only answer maybe... this or that, but never thought of the differences between colors I like and colors of clothes which compliments me the most!! lol hah... Ok, I think I need to jog down at least 3 colors look best on me in the future!! No black and white!! hehe...

I didn't sleep until almost 3 AM yesterday... geez, look at that black circle underneath eyes... *sigh*.

I had to jump out of bed literally when I just realized that new boots of mine is Givenchy instead of Miu Miu I stated on my earlier post.

Well, it is impossible for me to make such mistake but I guess w/ in-laws visiting, even I couldn't keep my mind clear anymore!!

Ilona: "Mom!! Don't blame the fault on others!!"

Rachel (mom): Oh, Ok, I admitted it.
I bought too many pair of boots this season and I should stop!! :P

Since when I started to lay my eyes on WEDGE booties when I don't even like wedge that much at the beginning!! lol
