Orange is Fall, Style is Personal!!

 Urban outfitter asymmetrical cut in the back tank, black shirt jacket with attached scarf and embellishment (I love those versatile and uniquely designed shirt/jacket), boyfriend jeans, Perry Hardy platform two toned sandals, Zara oversized clutch, crazy dog wooden and mixed beads necklace, urban outfitter gold triangle earrings and lots of lots of bracelets. (I figured that you probably know by heart now that what bracelets I wear as a whole set every time. ^O^)

 The ruched details of this shirt/jacket is impeccable.
 I would think shirt-jacket is pretty trendy and it adds a little laid-back chic look to a plain outfit.

 Aquabyaqua orange bodysuit, Max Co. textured leather jacket, brown n' white shredded scarf, J crew earrings, floral print mini skirt, Chanel 10' red distressed caviar reissue 226, lots of bracelets. ^_* Strategia leather and suede gray boots

It is mid October but here in suburban is so warm that I can only enjoy layering in the city!!

Have a good Monday.

Friends live in LA is having their best fun of shopping at this moment.

Why?

A charity event held in SCP where has a lot of boutiques and shops participate and the stores give their customers 20% off EVERYTHING!!! Thus, couple of my friends are so lucky that they can get their YSL tribute sandals for 20% off with the hottest colors available in this season. Well, I guess I have a pair iridescent taupe Tribute and a pair of Tribtoo pump, I am very content. I shouldn't tantalize myself by looking at all those pretty new colors online, coz "To see is to desire"! {lol.... Mental note... no more lurking...}  Even my son starts noticing his mom, MOI, has quite a shoe collection already.

Today's inspiration comes from the heels ...... from friend's shopping list.....

Transitional Look for Fall: Morocco Style.... in disguise!

Pei loves her Alexa Chung for Madewell "Ugly cardigan" and I joked that it gives me "Déjà vu" since I found one from Vintage shop couple years ago and they just look so much alike. Except mine is much thicker and warmer and it is ESCADA made in West of Germany.  I don't know how many years can this cardigan be traced back though. lol...

I guess I can call mine "The ugliest cardigan" to top Pei's! ^O^

The weather is just so unpredictable! I hardly feel over-warm even with this big coat and scarf on me.

Photobucket
Order this cardigan one size bigger than your regular size for a slouchy look.

Aren't the parallel hemline at sideview looking interesting!!

I have to layer that Jean Paul Gaultier sheer tank blouse inside for a more festival feel!!

Transitional Look for Fall: Blue + Gem Green, an oversized shirt as a jacket!

You can see how much I love Gem Green + Blue of this season's trendy color combination. As a matter of fact, I am officially a greenie. {You know, eat lots of organic greens, recycle stuff, buy local, .... blah blah, ... but I still need to work on harder on the carnival side of me. } This Haider Ackermann oversized gem-green shirt certainly is worthy every penny. I can now wore it as a long cardigan/jacket for extra fanciness and flowy.

I love the luxury look and softness of a satin shirt!

 Off the street sequined heart tank (I sewed the metal-teeth roses on by myself and cut off the sleeves to wear it as a tank), H&M short-sleeves blazer with oversized collar, Haider Ackermann oversized shirt, Catherine Malandrino trousers, Hermes white CDC bracelet, Givenchy Tinhan studs hobo, Christian Louboutine fringe booties

 Louboutine booties is always sexy~~

 Like I said, sometimes, complication is the solution to wear your past-season clothes.

Tonight is the time for my Zumba work-out routine.
{Zumba shirt, Agnes' b sports green leggings, Asics running shoes... I love the wide-toe design shoes for dancing.}

Enrich Your look in colors!!

A Moment of Self-induledging!

Yesterday is our most drastic day here in suburban, Cupertino and if you watched the news, you'd know what happened.

Hubby and I think yesterday is probably the only time that city "Cupertino" is ever being mentioned in the news more than "New York" city. Well,..... The weather certainly is cooling down in San Francisco and so is here, Cupertino. I finally have the strong anticipation to wear this Marni wool-felt coat and Valentino studded taupe heels.

Hum... I certainly have a thing for studs, don't I!!?

The shoulder has a profound cutting which is trendy and even be seen on a lot of blouses, or shirts such as over-sized shirts.  You definitely can wear those shirts as a blouse or as a light jacket/cardigan for more versatile choices. {I am wearing my Haider Ackermann  oversized shirt as a jacket today and I will post my ODJ later.}

Seem to be a perfect pair, right?

Cozy yourself up!

I wonder if airlines can provide a lounge inside the cabin and I bet this aviator chic sofa would look really cool!! {On top of their sexy and pretty flight attendants, they might boost more on their business as well.}

When black and white ensemble fail to impress myself, I'd pull out my full skirts during this transitional season. They are classic and forever stylish!!

{PS. Do jump-squats which strengthens your thighs and stretches your legs at the same time. But remember, always light on your feet to protect your knee when landing on the ground.}

Winter is the prep time for spring/summer's show time.
Don't be lazy, do your squats!!

De-wardrobe!

Are you dizzy by looking at those colors and layering on me?
No, you shouldn't. And you knew that those mix-n'-not-so-match style permeates you every season is an omnipresent current trend.

Now, pull yourself together coz if you don't, you won't be able to maximize the way you dress your past season clothes. Ah..... Sometimes, complication is the solution. { I know, we still want new things every season... and that's why you should buy COLORS and stock them in your wardrobe.}

I am basically a GREENIE for clothes, I buy, I recycle, I reuse, I gift my clothes to my friends and ultimately, I magically work everything remaining in my wardrobe into my daily ensemble.

Photobucket
Marni gold dress (detail at the back of this dress here), Neil Barrett black pleated sheer tunic, Marni pink cropped pants, Proenza Schouler large satchel, Elfi Altendorfer safety pin large bracelet and purple stone necklace, Vintage flower brooch, Jill Sander cut-out platform ankle-strap heels, Barton Perreira cat's eye sunglasses

Photobucket
[I guess for the bracelet this chunky, there is no need to do the piling or compiling...whatsoever]

Pile bracelets rule No. 1
Pile your jewels as close to their colors as possible

Pile bracelets rule No. 2
Work the classic pieces with cheap baubles

Pile bracelets rule No.3
If nothing works, give it up.  {wear it as is.}

Photobucket
I love this Hermes white CDC with gold HW as it goes so well with the natural beads bracelets, and rest of brass or gold tone trinkets.

MY outfit du Jour
A day of me being a minimalist!

Maybe I can find a way to pile that Hermes Mykonos CDC.
Have more fun after a hump day!

Fashion Emergency: Lust & Must!

You know what we lust for and you know what we dig in instantly whenever there is a good steal!! The bottom line is identify your style and cultivate your taste. You can't possibly show-case your jewelry collection in one ensemble so you might just be selective with your add-on bling bling!!

Must- Personal style!!

My friend, Pei, who doesn't need much fancy jewelry to upgrade her look nor show off her expensive assets with her outfit. {But that doesn't mean she didn't own or covet more heirloom jewelry.}  I am telling you, she got taste and she got keen eyes of finding deals and hidden treasures. Often I see her, I am impressed with her little-money-find but big style looks.

Photobucket
Pei's La Garçonne style
(Ensemble mostly bought from LF store (click it) in San Francisco)
On her: White tank, grid cut-out cropped top, cropped pants, white loafer with holes and lots of baubles and bracelets!

Photobucket
Pei's look of Casual Feminine.

see through roses blouse, black tank, GAP burgundy cardigan, taupe polka dot shorts, Club Monaco Virgo birth stone ring {she is not a virgo, I am... ^O^}, White loafers

Lust: Everything of Hermes {Seriously, who doesn't!}

I am meticulously attentive to details so I often complicate my ensembles and wear the maximum of the colors that I possibly can pull off on me. { you might as well notice it already.}  I think it is fun and I like Pei's style for the same reason that I barely get bored of her. {hint...hint, minimalist is great when I am bored with my carnival style, for once i'd wear my LBD. ...I am wearing LBD tomorrow to show case my new Hermes CDC.}

Finally, my small Hermes Collier De Chien collection.
They are in different leathers, different shades and two different hardwares. I adore those fancy add-ons to jazz up my looks.

{Balance my lust and the self-control....... currently under meditation. }
