Friends live in LA is having their best fun of shopping at this moment.

Why?

A charity event held in SCP where has a lot of boutiques and shops participate and the stores give their customers 20% off EVERYTHING!!! Thus, couple of my friends are so lucky that they can get their YSL tribute sandals for 20% off with the hottest colors available in this season. Well, I guess I have a pair iridescent taupe Tribute and a pair of Tribtoo pump, I am very content. I shouldn't tantalize myself by looking at all those pretty new colors online, coz "To see is to desire"! {lol.... Mental note... no more lurking...}  Even my son starts noticing his mom, MOI, has quite a shoe collection already.

Today's inspiration comes from the heels ...... from friend's shopping list.....

Fashion's Day Out!!

We don't have that kinda of luxury to fly to NYC for a big fashion's night out but it doesn't mean that we dress less stylish in SF city or in the suburban.  Fashion certainly doesn't only exist on the runway, nor less accessible in the suburban, it exists everywhere. {I am a total believer of what Coco Chanel said.}

My girl friends and I had a casual lunch today. All of us dressed up distinctively to whatever our life style fits.  Ann dresses up with a blazer as it makes her look posh and more professional at work. In the meantime, a floral dress makes her less provocative when addressing things/meeting with clients. {This has something to do with Psychological point of view... you know!!} As for Pei, she works whenever so she can dress up any style she wants on those non-working days. Then since I don't have to work (at all), I play with different "styles" almost everyday. Yu, not so much of a trouble-dresser, she dresses up whenever she wanted as well. As for my other buddy, Cathy, she can't make it to lunch today, we will leave her alone then. lol...

Harmony!!

Suddenly the temperature dropped and for the first time since last year..... I felt COLD!!  However, I assume my brain didn't catch up soon enough to stack myself up with sweaters and big coats in layers. I still do mix-n'-match both summer and winter clothes these days! ^^ I must also have a very strong immune system that I barely catch any cold ..... *knock on wood*.....

Incapable!!

Photobucket
My cornea is too thin that the doctor wouldn't perform LASIK on me. Instead, I underwent PRK. .... The surgery is successful but the afterward take-care is ... painful.

Surgery Day (Day 1)

I wear goggle and my sunglasses altogether!! ha~
At this point, I can only say it is very, very uncomfortable.

Day 2
Incapable of driving and almost malfunctioning w/ house chores as my eyes are very sensitive to the light and tears most of the time.  DH has to take over picking up kids, dropping off kids and lots of activities.

The nurse says this is very normal and should be 50% better on the 3rd day. I have to go back to take off my eye bandage in a week and by then, the nurse says that I should feel GREAT!! Can't wait~~

The goggle becomes my accessory. ^^

Top: AA (American Apparel) 3D mesh top

I almost type w/ my eyes shuts most of the time as the tears coming down unstoppable ..... I will update everything day by day!

Bear w/ me......  **

See you tomorrow.

Not Valentino 3D Roses!!

We family had a quiet Christmas Eve this year.  Instead of partying, I cooked simple dishes for my family and kids watched "Polar Express" at home.

Next day on Christmas, before we know it, kids already woke up and opened their Christmas gifts cheerfully. ^^ Well, I think my kids learned that anticipation brings them good joy!! I must say that I love Christmas spirit!!

It rained dog and cat yesterday so we took kids to bowling instead of feeding reindeer in SF zoo.

Basically, those bowling balls are way too heavy for kids at this young age and they had to toss the bowls on the floor and let it row very slowly toward those pins! Kids love the game and finally my son had the reality idea of what bowling game is..... on the opposite of those games on Wii!! ^O^

Photobucket
I know, ....... the rain...
.....but I still decided to wear my Chanel 10A tweed tall boots w/ fur out yesterday!!

Ilona doesn't want to leave Pottery Barn Kids thus cried sadly here ~~

I bought couple more birthday gifts for my gal friends....(geez, sounds like I have been buying gifts non-stopping... lol)!! Then, I found this interesting American Apparel 3D roses cropped jumper.
