Keep it Short or at least Fun-Pattern!!

I finally feel that we are at the same page as 2011 f/w runway show!!  As right now the temperature dropped and I gotta to wear warm coats again. I normally have a strong cold-resistant threshold but better keep up the strong immune system cause' friends around me are having serious flu going on one and another!! ><


I love cropped jackets, pants as well as my ever-growing-so-slow short hair style. I am keeping myself so amused just by going through those outfits I put together!! And I have a very consistent style.....heels, heels, heels, if not, wedges! ^O^

I am honing my cooking skill recently by trying new recipes, such as coconut shrimp and savory crepes. It is tricky to make perfect crepes as the consistency of the batter, a perfect flat frying pan, crepe spreader ... etc. all have to take into account before making a perfect "looking" of crepes!!  As for the taste, it takes cook's experiences and all guinea pigs' help (such as DH and my children or even my friends) to make a real savory crepe successful!!

It is always fun to cook w/ kids and let kids involved in all sorts of house chores ....including cooking! 
I even start asking my older son's help to pick up laundry from the dryer machine. So far, he can fold his little clothes and put away not bad, even I know he couldn't make a perfect folding but "getting involved" w/ house chores definitely teaches him how to be a sweet and kind husband in the future!! (Am I being ahead of myself here???!! haha~~~~)

The Last New Pair of ~~

I have been waiting for this Rochas leopard ( Printed pony round toe) mid boot to go on sale!! And indeed they are $599 currently sold at Barney's New York!

It is printed pony hair which is the same pony dye as my 08' Lanvin leopard happy sac!
Now I have completed head-to-toe leopard collection.  Oh, no worries that I won't wear the whole leopard outfit crawling in public...unless it is Halloween!! ^O^

I love the understated chic look of Rochas leopard flat boots and they seem to be a go-to boots to throw on w/ any outfit...classic, fun, casual, lady-like, or even formal. But you probably have to get used to the "LONG" and "narrow" looking of leopard paws on you! lol.

Ilona says that my feet looks like a tiger. I think what she really means is "leopard" or "Jaguar".  ^^


Kids and us are still trying our best to adjust the jet lag. We are doing great since normal school routine helps a lot, besides, wake up at 6:30 to 7 AM isn't so bad after all! ^O^

Fur, more Fur, and then Fur fun!!

When we are in London and Milan, it is the chillest day in our trip.... it is about 46 degree F.  When we were back in SF yesterday evening, we certainly feel much warmer. ^^

It is great to be HOME!! My friend said that the "home-sick" feeling would last us about 4 to 5 months until we want another VACATION to be away from home. lol. That's so true!!

Earthy Tone.....Skate Fun.....Kids Play-date!

Niel's teacher told me that as far as the social aspect is concerned, Niel needs to have a play-date. I guess she really doesn't have any idea that HOW many play pals that Niel has outside the school circle. He is so blessed in that aspect!!!  


I'd assume Niel probably told his teacher that the reason he missed TWO of his presentation assignments at school is because he has so many extracurricular activities after school.  And on top of that he also WISHES he has more time to play w/ his school-mate. 


Well, Well, Well, kids these days are smart!! Way smarter than our time that they know their responsibility and they also know how to TALK off their duty!! ........ for that, I remind myself to make sure that Niel has to take consequences for not doing his homework and to make sure he knows the school work is No. 1 priority no matter what!!


Today is my daughter, Abby's playdate that we all go to Cal. roller skate for the very first time. For me, it is my first time in USA except for doing ice-skate couple times before. It feels like we are back in 80' when I was at school in that old looking pair of roller skate. ^^ DH and I take the chance that we had a romantic skating date...while kids are watched by other parents.

The reason I wore fur and shearling is because I thought we are going to ice skate....(I never been to this Cal. skate ring place before.)



Look after I shed off fur and shearling...which is more like I living at current temperature! 
(Oh, well, but you know me, I'd wear little during winter and then dress up a lot layers in a sunny day!! haha.....^O^)

Friends and Family Fun in SF city.

What are they pointing at?

 Ah~ Blue Angels F-18.

We were at Treasure Island for the performance on Saturday. It is actually a better spot to see the aircraft's flying right on top of your head. (They perform on Saturday and Sunday.)

The jet is so pretty... "US NAVY" printed in blue and yellow. 

The plane reminds me of my family...there are 5 pilots in my big family and one of them was also a pilot for F16 in Taiwan.

NOT All Camel w/ Marni Shearling Jacket!!

Today I tried double eyeliners.... upper eyeliner and lower eyeliner and then I extended the line way pass my real eye.... more seductive!! Yes? No?

I use pearly highlight pen in lower eye.  
Then I only do the black eyeliner from the very end which looks like two WINGs/feathers there. 



I purposely use liquid eyeliner at top and pencil eyeliner at bottom which will ease out might-be-too-dramatic-look for my daily life. ^^
