Recap - Valentino Tulle Blouse!

I also bought this $34 lace shorts at "SWAY" in Santa Cruz last weekend. It seems that they have MYSPACE web page currently and just set up their FB account. ^^ The lace on the shorts is very intricate and it probably would look like $$$ with tulle. You know, like the one on Valentino!!

I love the voluminous tops I layered and when paired with this lace short-shorts, the juxtaposition is now perfect!!

This is my interpretation of tulle/shorts/sheer sexy!! ^^

Sweet Encounter w/ Prabal Gurung!

Today we girls meet together at NM so I can personally convey my admire to the designer, Prabal Gurung! ^^

I couldn't remember exactly what I had said to him, except for the answer (SHOPBOP) I gave him when he asked me where did I get that black sheer cut-out shirt.

You know, I laid my eyes on the deep V neck black n' white dress... it is actually leather paved pebble-looking patchwork on a mesh. 
Sexy and gorgeous~~  

As you see, the length of the skirt at current trend is getting longer and longer. I am glad that I did't wear a mini skirt in front of my beloved designer. ^^

Ready to go ANYTIME!!

The other day when our accountant couple came to our house, the husband asked:  "Why do I looked so dressed-up even at home?!!" 


Yes, I always do, don't I!!? ^^ 


Especially we just got home by the time we had a meeting w/ them.  I ever said that I don't have time to change since I am always on-the-go and the time I do stay home is because I have to blog or the minute before the meal time. :P


The husband:"What about the greasy, oily smell gets on the clothes??" 


Again, he must not already read my blog. :P I said, "I'd buy new clothes anyway or put them into dry-clean....... Besides, I am not a 3-year-old and my cooking skill is not lousy after all!!" hahaha...




No particular plan for us last long weekend except for booking hotels, buying air tickets for our Italy and London trip during Thanksgiving in Nov. !! DH said that we have to travel "LIGHT" this time.  I replied: "Oh, sure, I KNOW, I KNOW, of course!!" heehee... I bet you are aware of that too!!! lol


Saturday
We went to the Shoup park in Los Altos first then Half Moon Bay in the late afternoon to avoid the crowd. 

The bib necklace turns out quite versatile since it can really jazz up otherwise too plain top and add depth/interest to the outfit!

We are training Niel to ride w/ two wheels.... DH and I got to run w/ him to balance him w/ that training bar so we get to exercise w/ him. 



Nop, I won't be wearing YSL heels in the park. I always have a spare flip flops in the car when high fashion look is not required. ^O^ 

Sunday
Somehow we started our little shopping for the trip to Italy which I think I am getting too excited about. Hum... no shopping till we are actually THERE!! ^^

I started collecting Glass Pumpkin couple years ago when they sell hand-blow ones in Stanford shopping center months before Halloween. 

I bought this Mung bean colored knitting tights at Half Moon Bay on Saturday which perfectly matches this grayish white dress. (That Mung bean color is the same as Chanel s/s 2010 camellia flip flop! ^^) 



I am thinking of throwing Halloween Party at my house again this year. 

Monday

I better hunt for Halloween decor. ASAP.

A Total Venture of Fashion and Friends.

I rarely meet NEW friends whom I chat through Internet in REAL LIFE but I think it is a great experience to always want to meet new friends from all works of life! Friends come and go but true friendship doesn't fade by the distance. 

Yesterday I had a meeting-new-family venture in SF city.  Her family travels all the way from Canada to visit relatives and friends here in San Francisco. We girls knew each other way back in 2009 from the Internet while we both are into CHANEL very much. So we have been knowing each other for 2 years before we even meet in person. (Oh, note: I still like Chanel's collection now but somewhat got pushed away by its never ending price increase.)  

After I had my family, I feel the needs to meet new family as I also want DH get involved in my circle of life. ..... yeah, knowing a luxury lust side of ME! haha......  I am glad that I invited my new friend, Ceci's family over to my house in the afternoon.  Even though they only stayed at half an hour but my DH got to come home in time to meet w/ OUR new family friends!!! We don't know when is the next time we two family have the chance to catch up again but "friendship" between two families starts right then!!!! 

We do have pictures that both of us looks more "seriously" but I found those two more particularly amused. ^O^ 



I love the sheer and the not-so-provocative feather which sticks out around the chest.



I think the cut-out around the shoulder is very sexy!! ^^

New York Fashion Week Begins! Fashion Week Daily, Prabal Gurung, Jason Wu and BCBG Runway Video!

Well kids, it's that time again, and New York Fashion Week is upon us. If you are a designer and have an extra $200,000 lying around to show your collection during NY Fashion Week (that's about how much it costs to show in the Mercedes Benz official tents!), then this week is all about YOU! Silver Pouf: A look from Jason Wu Spring 2010 Collection

I was invited to several shows but unfortunately "work calls" here in LA, and had to remain in Southern California. Andy Cohen--of Bravo--even asked me if I wanted to attend the She by Sheree Show at NY Fashion Week! (maybe he was just joking!) But you know I would have LOVED to have been there to see the "hot mess" (or not). But alas, it's Emmy Awards Week and I have tons of things to do here in LA.
To check out the "latest and greatest" from NY Fashion Week, be sure to go to one of my FAVORITE sites for "all things fashion", Fashion Week Daily. They are the best! So far, I have looked at some of the collections and Anna Wintour and Michelle Obama "boy wonder", Jason Wu and designer Prabal Gurung's collection--inspired by his mother's YSL perfume bottle--have been my favorites. Prabal's collection is very "YSL Rive Gauche" for 2010.
