Refuse to be Colorful!!

Ok,  unless I find an ensemble which doesn't seem to be a runway or street-way copy-cat, I'd give up the take on colorful path!! ^O^ I will leave those bright Pink + Purple, bright Orange, yellow.... combo. for everyone else to strut. 


Neutral, beige, black and gold colors seem to be an easy combination to dress myself up these days or simply wear them monochromatically!!

Reclaimed silver, sapphire, mink fur earrings. 


(No, I'd never wear my hair band OUT...only in the shower... ^^)


Maybe I can give a face-lift for my tassel earrings...... to be like......

Casual Converse and Sexy Alaia lace-up Golden heels!

My computer crashed yesterday!!!  NO~~~


But thanks to DH that he insisted I should use external hard-drive to organize all my photos... so they are "physically" portable other than keeping on Photobucket.com!!  I as well as can switch computers under any reason w/ a plug-in. He is a guru in computer and I know I don't have to worry a thing when things like this happened!


Those was taken yesterday while I accompanied Cathy to look for her costume. Since it is all about "HER" yesterday, I choose "Converse sneakers" over my other fancy boots/heels!! ^^

I assume all my guests are prepared for tonight's Halloween party. As for me, I have couple things that needs to be done before I put on my costume.... 

We both have been back in this hand-crafted chocolate store in Los Altos couple times within a week.
They have the best Rocky Road (marshmallow w/ chocolate cluster) and big barks of almond w/ milk/dark chocolate clusters!! 


Then we found a newly opened store in the same street - Therapy (they also have another store in Mt. View)

Ready to go ANYTIME!!

The other day when our accountant couple came to our house, the husband asked:  "Why do I looked so dressed-up even at home?!!" 


Yes, I always do, don't I!!? ^^ 


Especially we just got home by the time we had a meeting w/ them.  I ever said that I don't have time to change since I am always on-the-go and the time I do stay home is because I have to blog or the minute before the meal time. :P


The husband:"What about the greasy, oily smell gets on the clothes??" 


Again, he must not already read my blog. :P I said, "I'd buy new clothes anyway or put them into dry-clean....... Besides, I am not a 3-year-old and my cooking skill is not lousy after all!!" hahaha...




No particular plan for us last long weekend except for booking hotels, buying air tickets for our Italy and London trip during Thanksgiving in Nov. !! DH said that we have to travel "LIGHT" this time.  I replied: "Oh, sure, I KNOW, I KNOW, of course!!" heehee... I bet you are aware of that too!!! lol


Saturday
We went to the Shoup park in Los Altos first then Half Moon Bay in the late afternoon to avoid the crowd. 

The bib necklace turns out quite versatile since it can really jazz up otherwise too plain top and add depth/interest to the outfit!

We are training Niel to ride w/ two wheels.... DH and I got to run w/ him to balance him w/ that training bar so we get to exercise w/ him. 



Nop, I won't be wearing YSL heels in the park. I always have a spare flip flops in the car when high fashion look is not required. ^O^ 

Sunday
Somehow we started our little shopping for the trip to Italy which I think I am getting too excited about. Hum... no shopping till we are actually THERE!! ^^

I started collecting Glass Pumpkin couple years ago when they sell hand-blow ones in Stanford shopping center months before Halloween. 

I bought this Mung bean colored knitting tights at Half Moon Bay on Saturday which perfectly matches this grayish white dress. (That Mung bean color is the same as Chanel s/s 2010 camellia flip flop! ^^) 



I am thinking of throwing Halloween Party at my house again this year. 

Monday

I better hunt for Halloween decor. ASAP.

The Gray, the Taupe and Melissa? Huh? :-P

I kept this pair of Karim Rashid collaborated w/ Melissa heels for the longest time ( 09' collection ) and I didn't plan to divulge the fact that I had them until now!! :P


Why? 
First, too many shoes that I even forgot all about them.  Oh, yup, that's unusual to me as I always wear my newest purchases ASAP.  
Second, the velvet and pointed/slightly squared toe stopped me from wearing them! 

However, come to think about it, I adore my squared toe Alexander McQueen satin heels very much, don't I!!  Besides, I am loving looking fresh and different all the time, so to speak, then why not giving this Melissa heels a try!! ^O^

It is not Mellisa's trademark..."plastic" but "velvet"!!

Unexpected encounter ..

Do you know that 80% of our vegetables and fruits are pollinated by busy bees!!!!?

W/O them, we can't enjoy as much food as we do now. 

Therefore, if you can walk or bike, don't drive.... ... one of ways to help to fight the air pollution and to keep bees alive! :) 



Frozen yogurt is one of my kids and my favorite sweet treats!!

THE Idol.... Lara Stone!!

I read an article about Lara Stone on W magazine. Compared to all the skinny models, she is not so skinny but I like her slender look way better. She is not exactly my idol but I respect girl who is being different and survived after struggling in the modeling industry. 

I happened to find this picture of her carrying the same Givenchy Tinhan hobo w/ gold/brass studs as mine!!! A sweet coincidence I like!! ^O^
