An instant upgrade: Decorative pillows!!

My interior aka fashion jewelry designer friend, Elfi, who inspired me on this constantly reviving home-look ideas as I can't seem to get bored at her house decoration whenever I visited her. I can't stop lurking around her house interior and trying to figure out what's new in her house. However, most of the time, there is nothing new but couple pillows being replaced or a new vase with freshly-cut flowers. How amazing!!

Therefore, from time to time, I love to change those decorative pillows in different seasons or during holidays.

Red Frenzy!

How Much do You Need RED in your life!?
Very much, indeed!! Red is classic, red is seductive and most importantly, red brings you good fortune!! Well, at least it works for me.

Not only I recently repaint our front door in deep wine red (Kelly Moore:Red Ochre), but also found out my dearest friend, Isabel, an all-time red lover had similar red bar stools in her kitchen. Like she said, we have similar taste but we interpret it differently!!

Not a dog carrier Alaia red tote 11'
{yes, I have been annoyingly asked by people if I had carried a puppy inside my red tote}

My ODJ

(Made in Korea) nude/pink bat-sleeves bottom-up, Marni pink cropped pants, Alaia laser-cut red tote, Missoni For Target zigzag flats

I am currently in the coma of red and Missoni for Target collection.

They are the best Missoni For Target's little models!!
{Never tell my son, Niel, that his vest is borrowed from girl's collection, Please~~} ^O^

Find your red and good luck.

Last Piece of Missoni for Target of Woman Collection.

Yes, I bought one in size XL cardigan from girl's collection. {maybe I will wear it on the weekends) Since I also bought one for my older daughter and we two can wear an exact identical look.... since I didn't score the white/zigzag cardi. from woman's collection and I really like this lighter version of zigzag, oh, well, ... since I can fit in just fine. ^^

Yes, finally come down to this last piece of frenzy zigzag Missoni for Target mini skirt!!

For some reason those zigzag/lightening pattern made me want to put on something pointed on myself {not teeth nor horns, since Halloween is still far.}... thus, Melissa suede gray curved platform heels!!!!

Etoile Isabel marant one shoulder blouse, Max & Co. light cream leather biker jacket, Missoni for Target mini skirt, neon yellow tights, Melissa gray curve platform heels, Alaia 11' laser-cut red tote, wool wrapped loop earrings, Prada limited edition 11' s/s tortoise sunglasses

I feel like putting on pin stripped blazer vest or wearing horizontal stripped sweatshirt but instead, I think this busy one shoulder blouse and leather jacket should be loud enough but co-exist with my bottom half without killing the fun of it!!!!

Have a nice weekend yo'al!!!

Wear Missoni For Target like you MEAN it!

Yes, I think I am pretty satisfied with the loot I had scored from Missoni For Target, big time!!! I love every piece I kept for myself which includes a skirt, a sweatpants, a cardigan, a pair of socks, a pair of flats and a pair of rain boots. {As things meant for home and for my girls, they are all keepers!!}

So~ I am going to wear Missoni for Target rest of my life...... {Of course this is just a hyperbole.}  Ooookie, let's see what I came up with to pair those pretty "little" things. {"Little", I mean they are relatively cheap, by "little", I mean some of them are in size xs and I had to take it no matter what and pray I can fit in just fine, by "little", here I mean I adore them like they are the real deal.}

1. Zigzag Sweatpants size xs. {I probably want size s instead but oh, well... }
Photobucket
I layered asymmetrical cut sheer tank over gray bustier, C&C California racer-cut long vest coat, Missoni for Target zigzag sweatpants, Dior 08' patent quilted booties, Ben Amun mixed color beads necklace

Here I paired my outfit with Missoni for Target pink/green zigzag flats!!
{I just had a feeling of striking a pose with my daughters' toy Microphone station with this outfit. }

2. Mix-color fitted zigzag cardigan size s
{We were repainting our big front entrance, so pardon the messy look here.}

Photobucket
Original look...

After a second thought...
Another layer of long vest would add more dimensions to the look.

Additional layers from previous look, Missoni for Target zigzag cardigan, Yaya Afalo wool long vest coat, Anthropologie wooden platform, Momo's March full moon bracelet, Ben Amun necklace, Zara oversized evolve clutch, brown hat.

3. Missoni For Target zigzag knee high socks {this yesterday look deserves another glance.}

4. Missoni For Target mix-color cardigan
I am feeling this cardigan even more after day 1, and after talking to Isabel, my friend in LA, about how crazy that people procure themselves anything from Missoni for Target. Yes, then you know how precious this Missoni for Target cardigan is!!

My Outfit Du Jour
Vena Cava romper with charms, Missoni for Target cardigan, theory knitting shrug, Lanvin leopard happy sac, Yves Saint Laurent nude suede tribute pump
Photobucket
Don't you think the pattern on this cardigan is so resembling to a tiger.... therefore, I had an inspiration to carry my leopard tote, as a clutch!

Photobucket
{I really like our newly paint door - Kelly Moore: Red Ochre}

5. Missoni For Target Zigzag flats, size 8 from I normally wear size 8.5. {running chores like crazy in the afternoon that I had to switch to flats.... a test walk!!}

A lot of people ask me about how do I feel about this flats.... I said,
1). They are nice  2). They are "Missoni for Target", thus, no comparison in price, look whatsoever with any other. 3). They are soft FLATs, thus, comfy!!  {No, I assure you that I am not getting a dime by advertising it.}

..... Such a long post...

I might wear my zigzag skirt tomorrow..... or not! ^^

Suddenly the weather is cooling down and those cardigans and socks are a great add-ons to keep you cozy but not steamy!! Let's waste no time and strut our Missoni for Target down the street!!

This is the slides show that break down to the basic piece - 08' BCBG Max Azura runway tulle strapless sash dress.

Photobucket
Let's shimmy shimmy Flamenco~

Photobucket
Blue Minnie mouse~~

This is today's complete look... LA GARÇONNE look in dress!! The layering over a dress is rather easy as the bottom half is full of volume and all you need to do is pile on clothes in different length and cut. You should be fine!!
Photobucket
Loosen up couple buttons on the shoulder for a laid-back attitude!

BCBG 08' runway dress, Madewell denim shirt, Madewell cobalt tee with one-shoulder button details, Trina Turk halter style pin-striped vest, Missoni for Target zigzag socks, HM brown loafer platform, Prade 11' s/s limited edition tortoise sunglasses, Proenza Schouler large Feldspar satchels

Photobucket
I love this new Prada sunglasses, very light, comfortable and very feminine with the swirl details.

Photobucket
I only button the very top one on Madewell denim shirt which I think it jazzes up a little mysterious and 007 attitude to this whole look.

Now, please excuse me as I am going out for a mission!

Missoni for Target.... A Great Add-ons for Home and for Girls!!

Yeah, I know, Target's website is down and boo...... such a bummer!!
I know if I can't see anything online, I'd pissed so I decided to stop by Target even though I am slow-motioned driving there when I should really vroom vroom....... before everything is gone!!

Photobucket
You know, I am not the crazy one...this is only the modest.

Well, not so bad and here are the hauls I scored...{no, I did pay, and I can't believe I bought $691 from Target which is equal to a year supply of toilet paper, kids' shampoo, cheetos, toys, gift wraps, Mascaras, and maybe kids' Halloween costumes, Christmas cards I ever spent.}  except I really want a Missoni throw and maybe that bike just to display it in our living room!! {Therefore my guests will know what's the big deal of Missoni for Target, right?!}

Photobucket
For girls, me and for home.

Photobucket
Two pillows and one zigzag storage box which I used for leveraging dimensional look for photo frames at the side table.
