Sequin, Prints--water color or Ink-jet or Digital .... MIX them!

I have a thing or two for sequins and prints.

I bought this PORTS 1961 sequins cropped cardigan from Chris. 

Caught me digging in frozen yogurt.

 This tortoise Karen Walker Dandy sunglasses is my current fave. 




Ilona: Mom, how come there are so many people waiting to eat at Pizza Antica??? 
Rachel: Because everyone is hungry and moms all quit cooking since it is too HOT!!! :P  
Therefore, we end up eating Thai food instead.

Yesterday.

PS. Chanel boutique in New SoGo department store has both rose and gray/green (We call it mung bean slush color. ^O^) flip flops!! 


The vertical prints around the shoulders give Dries blouse a princess sleeves' look and accentuate the neck.

You know you can never get rid of certain old clothes; one day, they inevitable come back into vogue.

Finally I have time stopping by Jill Stuart beauty for a test "make-up"!!!

I bought a purple eyeliner to highlight my lens/eyes, and gold tone w/ sparkles nail polish for a summer fun look. 
( lower right )The taro, dark lavender jelly textured eye shadow is so easy and moist when applied on the eyelid. My experience is that it almost is impossible to apply too much!!! 
However, the jelly eyeshadow might dry out faster in the continental climate....such as USA!! @@


The far right is charcoal.


I was on the verge of spending money on those yummy color blushes yesterday.




I only applied the far left two eye shadows on my eyelid and around the corner of tear gland. 
It really is very natural looking but somehow the shimmering color around the corner of right eye didn't show under the flash!

Packing Light (clothes for now) ~~ to Taipei!!

So, couple days ago, I pondered what kind of "theme" of my outfits I'd pack in my luggage to Taipei and Indonesia!! Then I read MadsAboutYou's comment on my last post: what's not to wear when she travels to Philippine? 


That's quite a good way of eliminating USELESS clothes and keeps packing tidy! If you must looking fab. for some reasons, or some parties, .... there is always a place to SHOP, isn't it!!


Then I thought about my way.... "the theme"-- Ah, ~ PRINTS.... all kinds of prints. They do best when mix and match together. Digital or ink-jet, animal, floral, abstract,......doesn't matter!!! ^^


Other than Marni's vivid color combination, I love the conventional ways of doing prints of Dries Van Norton's collection.  I waited for sales to embrace myself in some busiest but also the pretties prints of his collection. (His prints is not digital print and thus takes a lot of work a.k.a expensive for those intricate prints to complete layers by layers.)

Those should be enough for a month traveling.
I pack those samples from masks, eye gels, moisturizer, and lots of cleanser.

There are 3 categories in my packing. 

2 Jean shorts in different lengths (Helmut Lang and Genetic Jeans), Helmut Lang purple suede legging/trousers and J brand twill jeans.

These are my "theme"... prints! (Dries Van Norton and Michael Angel)

Here and there are some shirts, tanks, and maxi dress in case I needed them to do mix n' match!! (From Erin Kleinberg, Vince, Kain Label and American Vintage)

2 LBD, they are easy to do a proper dress-up w/ accessories for any event. (Burberry and Stella McCartney quilted fitted dress)

I will get down to SHOES soon........ ^O^
