Multitasking, without doing it on your own!!

I never notice I loved gray so much that it seems everything of mine such as my bags, my clothes, or shoes and now even my house would all coordinate in perfect harmony.

How?

I'll tell you later!
Photobucket
Hermes' Gris T. Birkin (Gray-- beige gray), Chanel 08' gray jumbo classic, Alexander wang Gray (lavender) Rocco Duffel bag.

This whole afternoon while we are making Rugelach (here is the recipe) in the kitchen , our painter finished one wall in our family room as well. {It has been a while since the last time I felt that I am a house-keeper as I am always on-the-go and seldom stay home whole day.}

Photobucket
Rugelach
(We only sprinkle cinnamon sugar and almond bits as fillings.)

We all try to be "Multi-tasking", don't we!!!?  But who says we have to do everything all by ourselves!! ^O^ It is just as good as it gets to have someone does house-painting for you and the other one demo./teach us how to make Panna Cotta a cold Italian custard, often served with fruit sauce or caramel syrup), Rugelach and Garlic bread!! And then we get to appreciate the nice work done on the wall and enjoy the succulent fruit tart right out of the oven all at once.  How sweet!!!

Photobucket
I always eat warm dessert with couple scoops of Vanilla bean ice cream!!

Photobucket
It is always healthier to eat your dessert with fresh fruits on top! {No custard nor cream on this fruit tart, just the way I like it!}

Photobucket
A very special "Thank-you" goes to my little fellow blog reader- Anna (the one with blue shirt)!!  She made a list of 3 semi-home cooking recipes for us so Yu and I benefit the most. She just graduated from high school and is going to be a fresh-man in UC Berkeley this year!!
{Ah, how I love blogging, and flaunting.....oh, no, I mean she is only 18... so young! ... I know, I am young too!!! *wink*}

Photobucket
Easy and light dessert, Panna Cotta { Ah, we didn't garnish it, maybe we should!! Just to make it  picture perfect?... hum,... anyway... }

Photobucket
before:This is our original wall color in the family room.

Ooh, la la~~~
I just can't get enough of gray... ( Benjamin Moore paint in Dior Gray.) See how much I love gray and now I have it on the wall as well. Oh, and look at that apple green new floor carpet, it echoes my green wall too.
Photobucket
after: with nature lighting, and wall lightning

only nature lighting

I love our modern family room very much, how about you!!?
Try a new color on your wall, will you?! ^_*

Friends and Family!

We girls are talking about which Michelin restaurant that we should make reservation at. Whether it is  L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand, Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace or Twist by Pierre Gagnaire at Mandarin Oriental hotel that we know we are in good hand!! ^O^

If you ask about my choice?

I'd give Joel Robuchon a first try! But my girls want me to make sure that I booked all of those restaurants just in case.... you know, we need to make ourselves presentable at the same time before we hit the table. haha~~
Photobucket
No, I feel chill but not cold at all when today I wear Prabal Gurung sheer shirt w/ feathers.

What A DAY For Both Adults n' Kids!!

Yesterday, the weather is surprisingly nice so we took kids to California Academy of Sciences in SF city.

We leave home around 10:30AM n' arrived back home at 10:30PM....3 of them all past out after a full day packed activities!! ^O^

Side Note: Niel loves Hot Cheetos so we had to rush to Target to get it for him. DH loves Jumbo Pearl Milk tea, we drove off to get it. Me...since everyone is not considering to sacrifice their cravings, I decided to buy my favorite custard bum too!! ..... This was almost a whole hour task before we actually hit the road!! :P

We met Irene's family at Academy Cafe' which is inside of the museum.

Why? Cafe?

We love the food served there, they are delicious too. Yes, it is an important factor that we love to go to California Academy of Sciences. ^O^

My ODJ of Saturday.

1. Top:
  • Scallop lace bodysuit from Benetton
  • URBN (urban outfitter) black tube bra
  • Gray deep V neck n' quarter sleeves sweater

2. Bottom: Huston skinny black jeans

3. Accessory:
  • Max&Co. brown belt
  • Crystal silver necklace
  • Hermes Gris T. Birkin
4. Shoes:
Christian Louboutin beige simple pump

Oh, I forgot to mention: the 3rd must-have thing is a nice brown/beige/came coat... like my alpaca MJ coat the other day I wore to Filoli Garden.

Then the 4th wardrobe essential is a warmth gray sweater....any cut, as long as you think it flatters your body figure.  ;)

Irene's son....Ethan!

Ilona's riding a turtle...
I know, her hair is blocking her sight....I want her to have a long bang....n' i forgot to clip her hair.

I love the ruffle/peplum detail at back of this RUGBY herringbone jacket. That little detail would accentuate your waist even more.

If not a big coat, I would also recommend a blazer or military inspired brown coat (just the cut, not the metal buttons...) to fulfill the 3rd must-have as your wardrobe staple.

That's Irene's 2 months old son n' her 09' Chanel black beads bracelet w/ dangled logo CC bracelet

SEE..that is Cheetos...for Abby n' Ilona....n' Ethan. Niel loves HOT ones only!!

At 4:30 PM, we took kids to do pottery painting at Terra Mia in Castro St. ...No, we only drive through the homosexual district ..... then there are lots of cute stores past there. ^O^

I am not sure is there are two couples are getting married...but look at that golden/pinkish coat n' stacked white boots.....
How fashionable!!  I want to ask him where did he get those!!! ^O^

They all wear wigs somehow!!

Here we are!

I need to do all the touch-ups..to make sure every piece is worth the money..haha...

Ilona's painting a penguin in a very black color.... I later transform it ..... we will see after we picked them up then!!! :)

We finished pot painting around 6:30 PM n' had Korea BBQ at Brothers Restaurant at Geary st.

They have pretty good portion for each order so you don't need to order A LOT.... to be satisfied!!

Today (Sunday), I did Power Yoga in the morning(almost late since  day time saving begins).... then I realized that I need a lot of rest until I see you on MONDAY!!

Happy St. Patric Day!!

Kids n' Game!!

I can't believe that I totally forgot about Sonia Rykiel pour H&M on Sat. until Yu called me around noon.*sigh*, I'd wish that she didn't call me at all so I don't even bother to make a plan to go UP to SF city in the afternoon or on Sunday if DH didn't get my *HINT*!! :P

Well, WE did go to SF city this morning after my kids' piano practice.  Oh, I hope there are still something left for me...... oh, and in my size!!.......(this was all in my head before we went to SF city!! :P)

Yes, I was impatient n' full of anxiety when listening to my kids' piano practice.  Yu told me that she couldn't think for another second n' had to grab a bag when there are only 2 in each store, one is in her hand n' the other one is a DISPLAY..

..........and you might guess it right, there is another woman asked about the very same bag holding in Yu's hand at that moment!!!!

Ha, TWO triggers, what would you do?!!

Me?!! Of course, buy the bag n' think about keeping it or not later!!! Especially when Yu told me that bag is only $20 around.... NOW, I am anxious to see what kind of bag that Yu laid her eyes on w/ that cheap price!! hum....... I know You want to know too!!! ^O^

I even call H&M in Powell st. in advance to make sure that it is worthwhile to go up there!!! ^O^ If it is not because they have children's SR collection, I would not even bother at all!!!

After OVO show, we went to Lake Tahoe. Kids went to ski board school there.  And then next week, we are taking kids to see the show "Disney on ICE". All these kids' oriented activities make me realized that they are our everything!! Of course, I still enjoy every minute of life but I know their future is held by our parent's hands!!!!

The marble sliding game is one of my children's favorite. You can configure it anyway you want!!

This is my son n' daughter, (Niel & Abby), current obsession -- tic tac toe!!

Saturday!!!
A sporty look w/ Chanel tweed jacket 08' !!
It looks I had leg tattoos!! :)

Children love rain. They never forget carrying their umbrellas or wearing their rain-boots when it rains!! ^O^

Sunday!!!
Finally I told DH that I want to take a look at SR collection for H&M n' also planned along a route for kids to have fun as well. ..... Academy of Science Museum!!!

See, it is not so bad even when it rains in SF city.

I learned one new creature in the museum today...... do you remember my degrading roses leggings' brand name, Daddy Long legs!!??

Daddy Long leg legging.

I found out that it is a spider(kind). ..... creepy ~ but I still don't know where the name came from!! Interesting!!

Have a good Monday.... I have something from SR collection which doesn't fit Abby at all to return tomorrow.

Do you think it is Boho Look or A Bit of Everything!?

I didn't forget that I should choose 7 blogger to pass onto the scrap reward and 3 to Over the top reward. I am glad I can pass onto 10 total blogger but I wish I could pass onto everyone I followed!!! :) The fact is everyone is doing great editorial, and I know I am mesmerized in those beautiful picture from all over the world!!! Oh, hope I don't sound so mawkish there. :P

But I promise I will do that tomorrow!! :)

Again, I think I bought enough clothes for this season. If there is anything catches my eyes during the sale, it could be redundant!! I must bear what I had promised today!! Oh, that doesn't include SHOEs or BAGs!!! hehehe...

My acting class finally finished last Saturday. I think I am going to the one which is close by San Jose to continue the
journey of my inner-self-exploring!!!

Ok, back to my ODJ.

I think the whole silhouette is so satiable just by looking at them hanging on the rack. I am especially happy about the outlook of pairing 2 necklaces together!! I feel that I really exhausted the usages of those baubles to the max!!

I put together an ensemble for DH for today and we shopped for a polo shirt for him at Ted Baker in Santana Row. While we were shopping, kids have our 2 Iphones to entertain themselves. :)

I wish they are this focus when studying. hha...

This cute carrier caught my eyes in Ted Baker's store.

This necklace is from Anthropologie which I think is best suit for thinner clothes.

BR ivory plastic necklace has more depth which I think is great for thicker clothes and even all year round;
Anthro. necklace looks almost like it's attached on my top (it is a skirt but I wore as a tube top).

I like the black wrists part which looks like I had cuffs on.

My ODJ.

1. Top:
  • asymmetrical cut floral skirt w/ lace trim (wore as tube top)
  • Lucca Contour black n' taupe two toned long cardigan
  • et Vous rabbit fur vest
2. Bottom: gray/slate leggings
3. Shoes: Manolo Blahnik brow studs boots
4. Accessory:
  • Anthro. necklace
  • BR necklace
  • Faberge' LTD enamel cross necklace w/ ruby n' Swarovisky
  • Hermes Gris T. 35 cm Birkin

If my upper body's clothes is busy enough, I'd like to balance it w/ either bare legs or just leggings at bottom.

My mom gave me this asymmetrical cut skirt 2 years ago which I wore it ONCE when I was pregnant w/ Abby. :) I am happy that it is no longer just a skirt and somehow I adore its intricate patterns a lot.

Abby wore rusty rose blouse from Jacadi (I think they ran out of business in bay area!!!!), Stella McCartney for GAP kids pink tutu skirt, neon pink tights and sneakers. :)

Oh, I must say if you girls don't own any fur coat yet, maybe it is time to indulge yourself one. It doesn't have to be real fur as long as you like it!!! :)

Have a wonderful evening!!
