There is always things to do in the big city. As we live in the suburbs, I always want to visit downtown San Francisco at least once a week.... for "fresh" air, probably not!! But for fresh vibes!!! {Yeah, that's it!!}

I really like this Cocoon style Marni coat which is so simple yet quite a statement piece.

Trend Irrelevant, Fashion Connected!!

My friend, Elfi Altendofer, always makes gorgeous and bold necklaces! I couldn't wait to get my hands on her newest pieces!! ^^  I had her custom-make two necklaces for one with pink beads on safety pin and the other with yellow spacers. The outcome of the looks are intricate and one-of-a-kind luxury!

I always have my own interpretation of edge, fun and urban twisted look, as you know!

Photobucket
Yu gave me the white butterfly patterned lace legging which is too tight to fit me but my solutions is have the legs cut-off and trim the edges as they now are my arm/leg warmers and thus the "bottom" becomes my "SHORTS" for this look!!!

Photobucket
Yellow spacers and pink, clear, yellow, blue beads, translucent glass-tube on big safety-pins spike necklace.

I know a lot of you probably already take a good peek at what's for next fashion....s/s 2011. Stylists or buyers must be busy pre-ordering those hot-off-the-runway items for their clientele. Fashion is always ahead of our time, isn't it!!

Back in reality, we are just stepping into fall and winter and thanks to the weather finally cooling or chilling off I shall say. So, let's see some current trends, shall we!!?

Vintage Beads Necklace by Elfi Altendor!

Photobucket
I could never get enough of this green/jade color.

Photobucket
"Paris" Vintage Acrylic beads, Lucite and Italian glass beads, Sterling silver cable chain and ball magnet clasp!

The exquisite necklace and earrings are handcrafted by my beloved costume jewelry designer: Elfi Altendorfer.  Soon she will travel back to her hometown: Austria and couple other Europe countries for her jewelry show.  Therefore, I had to visit her and her "gorgeous pieces" before she is gone for a while.

No, I can't wait for her coming-back and I am glad I didn't!!

Jewelry Trend for 2010!

The Accessories trend for these couple years are 3B's - Bigger, Bolder and Better. However, the classic and traditional look is still forever demanding in the influx of dramatic statement pieces from the current market.

I found an article talked about accessory trend and would like to share w/ you all. (source: squidoo.com)
Photobucket

My friend, Elfi, an active interior designer who is also an accessory designer. I recently custom ordered two pairs of earrings in order to pair two necklaces I bought earlier from her. You can always find chic and one-of-a-kind accessories w/ her and she follows closely w/ the hottest trend in Europe. You will never have to worry about wearing an outdated accessory in public. ^^

Austria jewelry designer: Elfi Altendorfer

You can click the icon above to know more about her and her beautiful pieces. She takes order directly from customers and charges way cheaper than buying from stores.  Have something in mind? You definitely should give her an email!!! ^^

Africa White turquoise spike necklace.

Photobucket
You have seen the necklace but I just had earrings done to complete the set!!

 Photobucket
Those pretty Swarovski earrings are my new faves.

Photobucket

Photobucket
It is always a great idea to layer two similar necklaces for a more dramatic look!

Photobucket
I love the smoke/grayish/yellow crystals mixed w/ all kinds of purple crystals!!

Photobucket

Did you see those 3 tiny beads at the bottom of that smoke/yellow tone round Swarovski crystals earrings?
It takes her almost 3 hours for making 1 earrings like that intricate!!

I think someone asked me about the nail polish I applied way back. Here it is: Suede (matte) in charcoal from O.P.I.

Photobucket
I am going to wear these to join our gals' movie night of Sex n' the City II tonight!! ^O^

Have some fun on Friday night!!
xoxo Rachel
