Fun in SF City + French Soul Food Restaurant!

Peilly and I stopped by LF store on Union St. yesterday. We think it is the best place to shop for trendy and hip stuff AND relatively cheaper deals. Although their price isn't as cheap as we expected, now they have everything 60% off, it is a great chance to hunt something before your mind is all set for fall. {You know, when my mood is not yet set for upcoming fall, I'd look everything in darker color  just plain wired on me....but once I start shopping for fall, I couldn't wait to strut new stuff on the street.}

"State of mind" is interesting, isn't it!!

MV [Fun in the Sun - by Tony Lindsay] ... Is that me in it???

This is a music video for Tony Lindsay called "Fun in the Sun." Tony has been singing at many different venues throughout the world predominantly as the lead singer with Carlos Santana's band for more than 20 years.

The cameras used were Canon 60D, T2i, and an HVX.

I happen to have the honor to be part of this MV which shoot by the students at Expression College for their clients. The Whole experience of indoor green screen and outdoor shooting at Ferry Building in SF is just wonderful. Who could tell the weather was raining, overcast and a bit hazy 20 mins before we started the shooting! God's blessing! Let's enjoy the MV and give them a round of applause for their amazing work on animation!

Last, big hugs goes to Lauren Patterson, Charles Lee, Andrew Bauer

Modern Stuff

I bought this Espresso stove-top dripper in Rome during last London and Italy trip last year. I never had the time to try it out or I should say I never thought it would be so quick to drip a cup of Espresso. How quick? Quicker than I finish texting several sentences of this exciting experience on FB this morning.

Photobucket
This is single cup Espresso and they are available for dripping dual cups of Espresso at the same time.

Brand new installed hardwood floor and new paint on kitchen cabinet.
{I am glad we did it during our trip in Taipei...yeah...}

Our house is brighter than ever, thanks to the white cabinets and big windows in the kitchen and family room.

I am a habitue of both the city of San Francisco and its surrounding museums. lol. Hubby and I appreciated the fact that there are plenty of places for family to visit during the weekdays or even the weekends in USA. The least hubby could stand staying in Taipei is that everywhere is so crowded especially during the weekends.

We are finally back to our home in San Francisco and I took kids to SFMOMA  in the morning to help them adjust the jet lag.

Photobucket
Starting July, SFMOMA will provide family with lots of activities to do on Sundays.

{The stories in "My Milk Toof" is just so cute to be past on... here is the blog:
http://mymilktoof.blogspot.com/}

If not because we visited MOMA and had someone installed hardwood floor, hence the furnitures got moved around and things are mis-placed in the house, I'd almost forgot these two adorable sculptures (Cow) I bought during our stay at Venice in Italy.

Photobucket
Those are creations/inspiration that artists all over the world did for a charity event.

{I so wanted to get that Cow bathing in the Milk pearl tea which is dedicated for event in Taipei in 2009 but they completely sold out. }

You really should check out "Trippen" shoes. They are extremely comfortable and stylish that people are staring at my feet, oh..no, I mean, my shoes everywhere I go. lol.

Woman are Determined!!

The influx of high fashion clothes and high brand shoes, bags in the web site and stores can only prove that women are determined!! lol

I mean .......We are determined to look into our best!! So we shop ..... til' we drop!! lol.  Yes, we dress up or down for ourselves, for our loved ones, for friends' party, for kids' school gathering, for friend's wedding, for company's meeting, for exploring new prospect in business ....... for any kind occasion! Don't we!?

But today I simply slip on my t-shirt and knee length jean-skirt, determined to look casual retro for a day! {Well, "tank" or "t-shirt" is categorized into casual look in my standard.}

At Mid-day, I drove up to SF city.... to a historical place, "Cliff House". There used to be a "bath house" {meaning public swimming pool} long time ago but tore down and closed long time ago. {I didn't dig into the history about it.}

Photobucket
Now, renovated modern look.

Can you believe the price back then...... $70 cent for a glass of wine?!!!

Photobucket
This is an old menu dated back 1942.

Photobucket
I only had a glass of Pinot Grigio and some bread for lunch
{I think the bar tender must thought that I am there for a free meal...."free bread", to be exact. lol}

Debut of Miu Miu studded pump 2010!

Since day 1 that I bought myself a coffee machine Jura ENA 5, I am used to have a cup of coffee at home before I go out.

I think it is a good habit that I limit myself to drink less than 2 cups of coffee a day and avoid using store cups/lids by drinking out of my portable mug. ..... Doing very little help to save the earth...I assume!!  Obviously, not today though!! ^^

Today I have to visit my friend, Renee, in SF city before she flies out to Shanghai on Sunday. But first thing first that I have to do some house chores such as putting away my Halloween decor. (see, we are even ahead of the holidays!), vacuuming the floor, washing our micro-suede sofa covers since we had guests over for Halloween parties ( I am also a semi-hygenic freak.) and my duvet cover.

Don't you just love the clean and crisp scent of cleaning sheets/sofa!!

Photobucket
My normal breakfast: Coffee and English Muffin or any sweet pastry that I can get myself one.

Renee found this 97' Chanel long tuxedo style blazer at consignment store Cris in SF city the other day... it is such a fab. find.
Photobucket
The back stitches of this Chanel blazer is superb.

The buttons has golden CC stamps which is such a classic look of Chanel that I refrain Renee from replacing them. (She thinks they are too conservative of the look.)

Can you believe that Christmas ornaments are stacked all over the stores already!!!

Hope you have a spooky Halloween trick or treat on Sunday!

Halloween Trick or Treat!! The Best Lashes!!

After done my last acting class, we met up w/ friends in Belvedere st. at Cole Vally of SF city!

Kids and adults all had a blast there. The neighbor blocked the whole street and every single house was decorated nicely or should I say "spookyily" for Halloween!!!!

I didn't prepare a costume for myself this Halloween but I did a special make-up instead. I got the inspiration from Chanel 09 Fall runway look but is a bit My version!!

Instead of attaching sequins or lashes at bottom, I found myself a super fun/gorgeous fake lashes from Make-Up-For-Ever.

Chanel 09 fall look.
Credited pic. to Gin&Roses.blogspot.com.

I got tons of compliment on those lashes today and almost everywhere I went have people saying they might/should do those lashes in the future. :) Those sweet compliments from those strangers made my day!!! haha..

The camera/light fade most of colors on me.
I use MAC pearl shadow around eye corner, smash Box baby pink shadow all over upper eye lid and Mac Gold shadow just above the crease.

Enjoy the pic.

That is my friend, Karen's dog, Daisy!!!

he he.. just got my prize~~~ Candy!!!!

My ODJ.

1. Costume National C.N.C black sheath dress w/ deep V back and ruffle trim.
2. Hermes Kelly riding boots
3. Chanel 09 black caviar Mini flap

Those lashes w/ white mini balls are perfect highlight for my eyes under the mask!!!

This is the most hilarious costume/theme in the entire neighbor!!
Marley & Gloria (in the movie: Madagascar), the zebra & the hippo are dancing behind the window!!!!

Look how many adults and children are fascinated by the dance moves of Marley & Gloria. haha..

Niel and Irene's son, Ethan are counting how many candy they've got the whole time.

Irene is 6 month pregnant w/ her second son and she is still so energetic!!!
I am happy for her!!

This is one of the moment that kids (even Ilona) would not be afraid of "ghosts"!! he...

We really love the neighborhood and everyone seems had so much fun!!

We dinned at Japanese restaurant after trick or treat w/ Irene's family.
It is already 10 PM when we got home!!

What a day!!!
Thanks DH for being so supportive for letting me taking acting classes and babysits kids while I am gone every Saturday!!

Have a great Sunday!!!
