The Neon, the chrochet and about!!

The Neon, I never thought of pairing neon yellow w/ pink together until today.

As you might notice already, I am BOLD enough to try out trends, play w/ styles, and MELLOW enough to keep my ensemble less provocative! :)

Finally my ultimate search for a perfect pair of oxford flat has come to a good end.

Photobucket
The French designer: Anne Valerie Hash.
The color is called terranova pink. In fact, the shoes look very "TAUPE" to my gals friends. I know, they are bias, they would do their best to associate any look-similar color w/ taupe!! ^O^

I don't think I need oxford shoes in 10 years...hah....

I met this lady, Soon, in the store while I picked up my shoes. She, at first, is reluctant/shy for me to take her picture....right...who am I???, not Sartorialist, and saying she is not young anymore. After a short chat, she told me that she is also a designer. As a matter of fact, she handpicks the fabric in NYC and draw the pattern of her own clothes afterward. The green hooded top and underneath purple knitting turtleneck is made by her own hand!!! Genius!!

Her earlier response: I am not young anymore..... made me ponder while driving back home. Well,  life is sweeter if you look into everything in an artistic way!!!!! We all get old eventually, don't we!! :)

I asked my tailor to sew that crochet tube dress for me from some vintage fabric i bought.

I love the contrast of satin green and cotton green details in the back of this hooded top.

Her heels is one reason that I want to shoot her.
Love her taste!

Somehow I look very stiff in this one.

Today, I found a new Japanese Brand, Toga. I was actually checking out some clothes w/ lace, and petal decor. and then found this interesting design inspired by Ancient Roman Clothing...
Toga pulla was a dark toga worn strictly in times of mourning.
The toga picta was a special all purple toga embroidered with gold thread worn by a Roman general during a triumphal parade. Julius Caesar later adopted it as part of his regular dress and the emperors followed suit by using this type during many state occasions. The picta was likely adapted from the aptly named toga purpura, an all-purple toga worn by the early kings.

So, another wardrobe essential is a nice white shirt. Any kind, ruffle, no collar, short sleeves or long sleeves or sleeveless..... get all of them!! ^O^ I think they count into ONE category within 10 wardrobe essentials. ha~

Let's onto Chanel tattoo!!

I have to make sure the pearl bracelet goes all around my arm. So there are 6 patterns I used here.
Photobucket
Now you know how strong my arm is .... :P. (A bird (w/ that CC logo), single pearl, a long pearl string, two two-pearl strings, CC logo charm. )

Those Chanel tattoo are too precious, I had compliments from men and then a girl asks me where did I purchased. It seems they sold out those tattoos!!

I think I have to give a proper thank-you lunch to Irene for sharing her tattoo w/ me ~~~

Off we went to Santana Row today!!

You know, the last minute shop in farmer's market is not too bad....except you think they don't have anything fresh left for you. However, the chance is they might want to sell you the left-over produce before the market closing and offer you a good deal.
I bought 6 baskets of strawberry for $8. I think it is a pretty awesome deal. ^O^

Have a good Monday.... oh, couldn't wait for spring break comes.
We are flying to Maui, any suggestion? I know we could at least take kids to watch a whale up closer if we are lucky!!!!

Life Before Husband!!

I don't know why Cathy look so happy there... almost silly to me!! ^O^

Ha~ Nothing serious w/ that title. It supposes to be
A day of a stay-home mom before her husband comes home! I never like routine, so if my friends ask me what I'd do tomorrow, I never really give them a plan!! Spontaneous is my thing!! ^O^

Stay-home moms' life in America is typically spending w/ friends, and kids (if not at school) during the day until husbands off from their work.

Being a Stay-home mom is not easy as we have to manage almost everything precisely.
Driving between Kids' extra-curricular activities, or classes, meeting w/ friends, staying home for kid's nap or cleaning the house (like I don't have a house cleaning lady comes by regularly), surfing the Internet or watching a movie and of course, doing grocery shopping. In the afternoon, the schedule normally is cooking, feeding, and bathing kids, then ..... if you are a lucky wife, your husband would share some house chores after he got home!!!!!

You see, if a stay-home mom can manage all these things into a morning or a day, that's pretty impressive, aren't we?!! ^O^

But you might say: That just sound "boring", right??!! Actually it is not, at least not for most mommy friends I know.

You know friends are so important, especially friends who are in a marriage and who also then has children. There is a long way to go in a marriage w/ children involved. We encourage each other, give all sorts of advice to each other (even sometimes we don't want any advice, but listening would never hurt, right?!!), share husband n' wife thing together, and gossip about Mother-in-law issue whenever we needed to vent!! Comparing is not really a good thing but certainly is not a bad thing neither!!
:P "True Friends are Forever!"
