Mini Flap On A Roll!!

I am so used to carrying big bags around, but when suddenly I switch to the mini flap, I feel it is such a relief from all the extra weight on me.

I am still wearing my medical hosiery like 12 hrs a day keeping the pressure on my left leg. I know the weight of a bag putting on my leg is insignificant compared to the pressure from carrying my little girl around most of the time. However, the tiny veins on my leg will disappear sooner with the benefit of shedding some pounds from my weight this summer and lightening everything I carry every day. So I guess I will start my another new year's resolution: exercise more and have a healthier/strict diet....Less Sugar!!

Now, even my skin can benefit from my body's natural anti-oxidant eating regime.

I took my little daughter to have a hair cut. This is the first time for her but since she saw her brother and sister had hair cut before, she is so familiar w/ it. She didn't shed a drop of tears.

She is such a calm baby, speaking she is only 19 mo.

I bought couple new plants. Don't you just love spring after a long, dull winter!

Runway fashion for less!!

I was debating w/ myself about whether should I buy harem pants or jumpsuit when both of the pieces are so IN and so FUN. Then I decided to go for jumpsuit first.

I compared the prices of jumpsuits between BCBG runway item and H&M inspired runway look. BCBG ,of course, costs more about $238 when H&M has exactly the same copy of design for only $59. However, BCBG is make of silk while H&M's made of 100% viscose. I have not tried BCBG runway jumpsuit but I decided to buy H&M instead. The H&M jumpsuit is quite flatter my body and for what I had paid for a runway copy, I have no compliant about it.

I am more of a practical person. In fact, I have plenty silk clothes and I just started to feel they are high-maintainence. I used to so not bothered by such trivial errands when speaking of taking clothes to dry-cleaning or removing stains right away while inside the restaurant. But after years and years, I think I am going to give myself a break for this jumpsuit meaning NO SILK.

I guess next thing I want is a pair of nice cut harem pants. Yes, I think I would pay just a little more for that.



We went to pick kids up from school after back from SF city and went to Discovery store at Los Altos around 4: 30 PM.

Today is Vintage store field trip day!!

Today, my friend and I went to Haight street of SF city. We visited some vintage stores and I am suprisied they have quite a few second-hand stores in that streets. For buying second hand clothes/goods, a keen eye is what you need (The more you shop at second hand store, the better you are when finding treasures there.). Normally you would love something at the first sight, if there is any doubt, don't buy it then.

Though it be a skirt or a ring you are looking for, you probably want to picture about the looks you could do w/ it.

Last but not least, vintage should not be expensive. Unless you are a Hollywood star who needs Haute Couture.

I have to say going to the restroom when wearing jumpsuit is like changing diapers for my little girl. "troubleS"!!! I have to take off every piece on me literally, my belt, my jumpsuit, my mini flap and my body suit.......haha..........

My new find! Ruffle collared coat when unbutton!!


There is a little surprise at the back of this coat.....a cute bow!!


What can I say, it definitely worth the trouble sometimes when you want to look gorgeous!!

Mommies fun time!!

It has been a while for we moms to go out for a lady's night out. One of my close mommy friends is pregnant and I guess it will be a while for us 4 to go out for a drink. Therefore, I called out my mommy friends and had a lunch date w/ them.

Most of my mommy friends all have their distinctive styles. I am constantly amazed how deft they are to put each piece together and look perfect on their body.

I love that white star fish vintage earrings so much....I think it must be because spring is around the corner.

3 of us met at Pei's house (my mommy friend) this morning. You know, kids love to hang out at friend's place cause' they can play different toys which they don't have at home.

New Bags, New Mood! Get ready for Spring!!

So I bought two new bags and both of them are small. My friend said that my preference for bags became smaller and smaller. I guess she is right!! After a long, cold winter, I am ready to set my mood for spring/summer.

This is what I wore on Sun. I played w/ my skirt which I bought before I had my first son. After almost 5 yr. I think the trend just brought back my love for this skirt; asymmetrical, ruffles, floral knee length skirt. I even tried it as a top and I think it works wonderful.
