Tweed and lady-like Jackets!!

Everyday I have to filter a lot of "junk emails". I think part of the reasons is because I signed up too many newsletters and I hardly have time to read them! But I still keep subscribing. :P 


Today, WHOWHATWEAR had a talk about lady-like jackets and just to show you how much I love those posh and elegant looking jackets, I decided to gather some photos of me wearing this same look over the past year. 

These two tweed jackets are Chanel. I love them to pieces.


Do you know, Chanel Shanghai collection 10' jacket (the white w/ red trim) was bought "ON-SALE" so it doesn't even have the "privilege" to be hung on its decent "CC" felt hanger when I brought it home!!? My, .... oh, well,.....poor second-born child. lol. 
(According to Chanel boutique, they need those hangers for NEW collection. or for FULL-price collection-to be exact) :P.

Here are my two out of ten of my new year's resolutions:

1. I signed up "tennis" classes w/ my son and it starts next Mon. Obviously, Niel even knows more skills than I do. I, on the opposite, play tennis as it is badminton.....hahaha.... now it is time to learn it correctly. 

2. I also signed up "Film on-set" classes at Expression College which will start this Feb. I am not expecting to be an actress but acting is fun so I think I'd love to keep the habit.

Not Girls Day Out....Funny!!

Friends say that we had a quiet Christmas and New Year. 

Yes, we do. I am still manage to gather my energy back after our Europe trip, and girls' Vegas trip! Besides, kids' school starts on Monday and I don't want to risk the chance for them being tardy for school. Hanging out w/ couple friends is so much fun regardless if we had a big party or not!!

No party at home doesn't mean there is no party at all. Irene held both of her sons' birthday party together on the first day of 2011!!! For a good luck!!?? ^O^

I know, this post is supposed to be about kids' birthday party but you know, this is also a fashion blog that how can I not to take the chance to snap pictures of my friends!!! lol.

Ah, I almost forgot to show you the cakes of the year... well, in fact, they are meant to be for December 2010's birthdays!! One of friends made those super duper cute cakes from scratch and she is open for business...NEXT YEAR?!!! That's what I heard!! (anyone interested???!!) ^^

Stepping into 2011!!

I probably can start to lay out my new year's resolution!! ^O^

Each Christmas, no matter what, I'd like to buy a Christmas cake to celebrate w/ family or friends. It doesn't matter if the cake is Bûche de Noël or simply has "Merry Christmas" frosting to represent Christmas. 

This year, I bought a Princess cake which is a true Scandinavian cake w/ custard, raspberry filling. I never had Princess cake before and trust me, it is delicious!!!

My dearest friend, Isabel, came visit her family here in bay area. Whilst shopping, she bought this "I-so-wanted-but-couldn't-find-it-anymore" 2010 engraved ornament for me!!!

 Ah, I am so touched that she even remembers it!!! ^O^

What else I have been busying for these holidays except for resting and partying at friend's place?!! 

Hand-made gift bag decorating!! I guess I was really bored at home and I found some scribble, scrabble to jazz up an otherwise too plain gift bag. ^O^ 

You must know OWL is my favorite animals of all kinds and I stick w/ it....my friends well know about it and thus OWL becomes a starting point whenever they need to find a "personalized gift" for me. lol

Chanel Shanghai collection 10' jacket

I have noticed that I barely wear my London Fog rain boots this year...even it pours these days!! I know, I kind of getting bored w/ the seem-to-be cool and functional rain boots look now. The rain boots look has been overwhelming since last year and wherever we were in Italy, everyone wears plastic rain-boots too!! 

Alternatives? Patent leather!! I dug out my old Christian Dior quilted ankle booties these days whilst there is rain.  I had DH compliments on them and he couldn't even remember that those are OLD 08' pair!!! You know, while I am up to wear the hottest trend to go out each time, DH appreciates most when the times I do wear the most comfortable and easy going look of outfit. ^O^ 

What can I say!!! Most men don't really appreciate HIGH FASHION as much as we women do!!

Max Co. halter denim dress, Falke socks, Dior booties and Chanel Jacket. 

When I am lazy, I put on one-piece dress for a easy but still pull-together look!

I have so many plans for next year 2011 and I am sure you are too!!

Highlight Of Las Vegas Trip!

The day my whole family drop me off at the airport...off I go Vegas w/ my gal friends!!

Yes, this is my outfit on the way to Vegas~~~ ^O^

The 1st evening dinner at Michelin restaurant: Guy Savoy in Caesar Palace Hotel. I love their hearty portion (if compared to most other French restaurant) and slightly heavier taste.

I need to make sure my girls are looking at their most gorgeous the night so I did their make-ups and made them change their clothes from their original planned outfit. haha... ^O^

There, my pretty gal friends!! 
Our shoe show case: Miu Miu studded sandal heels, Christian Louboutin chain sandal, Bottega Veneta woven burgundy ballet flat and Jimmy choo!!


I have my Oscar de la Renta sapphire earrings and J Crew green glass cuff on w/ AQUA dress!!

IMO, Guy Savoy has the most delicious sorbet I have ever tasted!! ^^









By the time I finished all the courses, I can only drooling over those treats, sweets as I am completely full already.

What a crazy night for us. ^^ 


I love the way I wore my Michael Kors sweater...and I think people love the way I wore it too. All of them love the look and thought it is a big roll-neck scarf on me!! lol.


You know how many times we did this poses over and over again...? Just because Sally wants to practice and look in her best shape on pictures.... poor Irene who took pictures for us over and over again...like 4 times!!

You know how it could be when girls are obsessed w/ looking into their best!  They never give up the opportunity to be perfect on camera. ^O^ 

Then, there is always the last minute change of mind among girls ....when the heels is not right!! Off we go shop for HEELS!!
