Maniacal Fashioinista....

Would you sleep with a fashion magazines or picture of a thing or a person you yearned for under your pillow?

No?

Never?

Well, just curious. I don't think I am ever such a maniac, neither.

A fellow reader asked me if I could do a "ORANGE" look for her as she has an orange sheath and would like to get some inspiration. Well, I don't own any orange dress but I hope this so orang-y Vince cropped top would help. ^O^ You know, such as you can pair a suede brown or wheat pump with orange sheath dress ...... ... to play with the colors.

Since today kids and I had a plan to visit SF Zoo, so I wore along this whole look on me to the city. I'd say my look is inspired from 60's ... the "mini", can you tell? And of course I brought along a pair of flip flops with me to switch off my Prada gold stripy wooden sandals while strutting in the zoo. lol. {yeah, you know, switch shoes in the zoo just for the sake of taking photos is pretty crazy, huh, don't you think? }

I think the layering of orange and brown colors made this look even more sophisticated.

{Here is a look with the trendy hot pink pencil skirt I did way back.}

Wrap up..... before fall!!

Summer sale is the best time to stock up your winter/fall wardrobe!!

No, I am not kidding, a lot of 11' A/W pre-order items probably won't be available until Aug. anyway whilst lots of past season looks will def. be worthwhile to invest in with smaller expense and be coordinated into new styles later on. So, why wait up, go shopping!!

{Yeah, I bought hubby his Father's Day gift and I am DONE. lol}

Speaking of stocking up fall items,
I bought TOGA leopard print in front-side only tights and Marni's single horn flower pendant necklace.

Pei is pondering if she should keep both the beige/cream wallet and the distressed brown caviar reissue 226 which she would prefer it was a larger 227 size instead.

Positively Elated!!

Cathy and I drove up to SF city in such overcast weather today. But we are lucky as it turns out sunny and nice after some rain!  We didn't have any objective about whether we want to shop or eat or just browse stuff in the city.  A random trip up to San Francisco just to be away from the suburban. lol. There are lots of pre-sale going on in most stores and we are merely gathering ideas of "summer white" theme for our girls' night out on Friday!!!!

See, "gathering ideas", and we end up not buying anything!! Everything looks great in Zara but I think I have enough inspiration and can make lemonade out of lemon just from my own closet!! lolololololololol.....

Hot Pink + Orange, Yes, On me!!

Today is a typical crazy Tue. for me. { inevitable duties whole afternoon, being a chauffeur, a cook, and also provide a shelter for friends to stop by} ....haha... Some of my friends live quite far from where we live so if they are around our neighborhood, they'd come over to my house on the day that there is nothing to shop for!! {Also extra Chit-chat and tea time for us. ^^}

Those pictures are taken outside the house of my son's English tutor's. Yeah, Nile is such a great photographer and since there is still time before I dropping him off for next Chinese class, I thought I could make good use of it.

Layer the Brightest Colors From your Wardrobe!!

You don't have to worry about harmony or not, basically, bright color blocks would work great in any form. The key is to keep them segmented!! Torso, upper arm, lower body-hip, neck,........wear your most luxe. colors like the way of doing a body anatomy!!

Sound wired?! It really works!! ^O^

pull down sweater...

Or fold up sweater to reveal more skirt... different silhouette would make your bright color look even more fun!!

The thoughts of death toll would increase up to 10,000 in Japan filled me with dread. We family had contributed small donation toward Japanese people and I am thinking of donating more to help. At least I can do!!

Meanwhile, just read about the news of food contamination by radiative, Milk and Spinach probably should be eliminated from consuming recently. ... I know, it probably is irrelevant since we are buying spinach and Milk from local...but just the thoughts... again,  scares me!

Give your help to Japan!!
