These people are so much like me--I haven't worked in YEARS. And I have lots of fun hobbies...and I catch up on my sleep. But most of my life I have been semi-employed. I only have worked once for 2 years at a law firm in a mailroom full time. I never really prepared for the economy, I guess. (Now of course everyone is in the same boat.) When I was a kid I read novels or drew pictures in class when everyone else was studying,and then began skipping school and dropped out in my mid-teens.At age forty-six, I am an accomplished porn writer, made some bucks from that, spent thirty years hanging out with my unemployed friends...and I've maintained this blog, and read a lot of good books. And I've spent quality time with my wife. But Good God, what kind of an obituary is that, huh? "He just hung out". Damn.
