Very Prive Christian Louboutin Heels.....How To Get a Grip!

I assume Christian Louboutin Very Prive Heels is the most wanted shoes for every woman. They are so sexy just by looking at them let alone wearing them walking on the street. I receive blandishments every time I wore them out, literally, w/o failing one time so far.

My friend, Michelle, is asking me about how to get a better grip when wearing them. Here is what I do.

1. I don't think brand name of padding matters....but I use both fabric and gel paddings for different parts of underneath my feet.

2. Here is the tricky part, I use 2 big paddings instead of 1 big and 1 small for the particular heel which slips off like hell. In my case, my right heel slides off my ankle a lot. I put one underneath my toes/feet and the other one was placed underneath/align w/ my Achilles tendon. The big padding has more grip and the small one originally designed for the ankle is useless!!! However, I found out that I don't have problem w/ my left heel so I simply use the ankle stripe instead.

I didn't glue it on since I'd like to adjust it every time I put on my shoes.

I don't like gel padding in the front since it makes my feet sweat, however, it is great to be placed along w/ the ankle since a little moist there keeps the heels from sliding off!!

3. Walk w/ your back straightened....this is not just to let your feet grab the heels better but also make sure you walk "sexier" in gesture.

So I have different solutions for my each foot! :)

I'm Back!

Hi everyone, I'm back after a week in Sicily and I have some huge news...I'm engaged! The holiday was amazing and being proposed to made it even better. We are both thrilled about the whole thing. I've posted a pic of the ring but it's not that clear...silly camera I have is rubbish at focusing! But you get the idea...it's gorgeous! To be honest, I wouldnt mind what the ring looked like, I'm just happy to be marrying the guy of my dreams (very cheesy but true!)
Anyways, the temparature in Sicily was on average 34oC so I had to be super vigilant with the sunscreen, it was SPF 30 all the way. I managed to get a fantastic tan, probably the best I've ever had and I'm glad I did it in a safe way. The Joico hair products I mentioned in an earlier blog post worked wonders too and they have successfully shielded my hair from the blistering heat. My hair is in good condition and I can't see any damage at all. Result! So if you're heading on holiday, you should definitely check out that range (available on http://www.lookfantastic.co.uk/).

The one thing that I did notice after being in the sun was how much it affected the texture of my skin. It's usually very smooth but became very bumpy and generally quite dry. I have posted a pic below of the products that I will be using to get my skin back to it's former glory. From the first use, I noticed a huge difference in the softness and texture of my skin and I would highly recommend you use these products if your skin has been dried out by the sun. I am using St Ives Moisturising Body Polish which I have used all over the generally exfoliate and smooth out my skin I really like this product! Palmers Cocoa Butter as it's great for making your skin super smooth. I will also be using The Body Shop Retexturising Vitamin C face mask, which I have mentioned in my blog before...it's amazing for making your skin really smooth and soft and it peps up your complexion.

I have also bought the new John Frieda Sheer Blonde Tone Refreshing Shampoo and Conditioner just to freshen up my londe hair. I will let you know how I get on with that.

I will be going shopping tomorrow and I'm on the hunt for some YSL products and also to pick up some items for a swap so you can expect a post tomorrow about the goodies I get!

Ferry Building Fun ...... What A Eye Candy Day!!

I said it, somehow I am loving "black" back these days.....it must be the trend or designer's collection made me think the BLACK color is the new "Statement" color.

I start wearing my Y-3 sneakers which I never wear unless I am going to the gym. Plus, I don't even do jogging since it bored me to death. lol Sneakers to me is more like an accessory than an activity essential!!

We went to Ferry Building in SF city and had a blast there.........all of us had a treat by the city today!!

My ODJ.

1. TOP:
  • ZARA striped shirt
  • So Nice black vest w/ sheer trim (Taiwan brand)
2. BOTTOM: Pleated skirt from my mom
3. Accessory:
  • Sea-grass Fedora hat
  • Fallon brass cross/glass necklace (Barnes New York)
The necklace is featured in BAZAAR "Best summer buy in July".

I like to layer my two necklaces together for a more unique look.

  • Ferburge limited ed. blue enamel/sapphire cross necklace
  • Y-3 black sneakers
  • navy degraded socks
  • Chloe sunglasses
  • Chanel 09 s/s black bow w/ cc dangle earrings
  • Chanel 08 s/s black rodeo drive in large w/ perforated lambskin
I know, my bang looks funny cause' I cut it myself....hopefully, it will look natural after couple days. haha...

I normally spend 1 hour to get dressed for myself then it leaves me not much time to dress up for my 3 kids. It doesn't mean that my kids don't wear nicely when we family going out together, it is just that I need extra effort to unify our family look w/o bargaining w/ my kids about what to wear.

But I thought today is the day, that I have extra energy to unify our look. I even have to sweet talk to my DH to wear the same pattern shirt w/ us. did you notice that this is the first time that all 5 of us wear a family uniform...striped shirt!!!!!!

This is a pretty funny guy sitting on a fake plane!!! How cute is his smile!!!

See, make sure you train your kids well and you make them do the work---pushing the stroller!!!

The sea grass hat really is an accessory too......eventually, I had to carry an umbrella for the sun!!

This will be my Halloween costume, I guess!!

We saw so many scene like this topless or barely-wore young, pretty girls
in the city today. I am suddenly feeling so "ALiVE" again!!! :P

These two elderly ladies are TWINs and you can tell from behind too. You know, I am so moved when seeing they are walking and growing old
together !!

Across street from Ferry building has flea market every Tue. Thur. and Sat. so I bought couple art prints when walking all the way to bloomingdales. The artist gave me her hand-carved artichokes mold after I bought two limited prints from her. I am feeling so so so honored and had to ask her to sign at the back of her original mold.

I think you know why did I buy that strawberry print!!! :)

We had yummy crepes at food court of bloomingdales before we walked back to Ferry building and end our day at Osha Thai restaurant!

Menswear Collections--Spring 2010--Highlights and Runway Videos!!

Cowboys, Hot Camp Counselors, Italian Gigolos and Ripped Bleached Jeans...

It's Menswear Fashion Week!!!!

DSquared2:For Spring 2010, the Dsquared2 twins came up with a rompy "Camp" theme--not the kind of camping you used to do with your family however. This is "Going Camping" on another level! Lots of skin, lots of hot Fantasy Boy Scouts, and the sexiest Camp Counselors I've ever seen--My camp counselors at the Summer Camps I went to NEVER looked like this! Come to think of it, I never even went to a Summer Camp!If they did, I would have gone more often! Lots of shorts, boxers showing from under the shorts, torn-and-worn jeans, Wellies and Hiking Boots, and those ubiquitous Trucker Caps. When someone like Ed Hardy does Trucker caps, they look DOUCHEY, somehow, the Dsquared trucker caps still look HOT!

D & G:
For their lower "Contemporary" line, D & G, the Dolce & Gabbana boys were in a Western mood for Spring/Summer 2010. Sexy, slim cowboys, Western shirts fitted to a 1/4" of their fat-free male model bodies, cowboy boots worn inside out. This is the sexy Italian version of "Brokeback Mountain". And again, it's all about those torn/ripped and bleached-splashed jeans. I feel like I am back in 1984---and I kinda like it!

Dolce and Gabbana:For their luxe high-end namesake line, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, continued on what they know how to do: Dress an Italian Gigolo. For Spring 2010, the silhouette was lean and mean (not a surprise). Elongated blazers (a departure from the current trend of cropped ones) are de rigueur for Dolce & Gabbana. But what the designers did show cropped were the pants. Gentlemen, you will be rolling and pegging your pants come next Spring/Summer. No socks and gorgeous Italian loafers. Yeah, it's Band-Aid time for the back of your feet kids! The show starred Madonna's latest boy toy, Brazilian model Jesus Luz--who was the second "exit" in the show-- wearing black "hot shorts" and a very open black shirt. Bless his heart, he can't walk the runway to save his life (he's rather bowl-legged, see video below), but huney, he looked HOT!
