ShoeDazzle

You may have heard of a new site called Shoedazzle which sells Shoes, Handbags and Jewellery.  The whole concept of the site is that you get stylist's recommendations based on your own personal style preferences.  The most famous stylist on the site, co-founder and poster girl is none other than Kim Kardashian.  The other stylists involved in the site are:

Verena Hafner - An editorial and personal stylist based in London.
Laia Farran Graves - A stylist who has worked at Vogue, London Fashion Week and who has a list of celeb clients.
Sara Darling - A London-based stylist with vast experience in editorial, music video and advertising work.

There are four easy initial steps:

1) Take the Style Profile Quiz
2) Create a Sign-in account (no obligation at this point to give any payment details)
3) Get Stylist Recommendations based on your answers
4) Pick your favourite items

You will then receive an email with personalised style recommendations every month and you get the option to skip a month or add additional items.  There's no upfront membership fee as such but you do have to remember to select the skip option between the 1st and 5th of each month to avoid being charged the £39.95 (always charged on the 6th of each month). UK Delivery and UK returns are free and all items on the site cost just £39.95.

You can also request alternative items if you aren't happy with what has been chosen out for you by the stylists.

You can earn 'Style Points' by purchasing and inviting friends to the website.  You can invite as many friends as you want, and you can earn free shoes, handbags and jewellery. Every friend who places an order earns you 200 StylePoints. Once you reach 1,000 StylePoints, you redeem for a credit, good for any item in your showroom. There is no limit to the number of credits you can earn.

The site can also be accessed via the iPhone or Android devices so you can shop on the go.  There is also a US version of the site too.

Shoes come in sizes 3.5-9 in most styles.

So, in essence, you never have any obligation to buy—you always have the option to skip any month without charge by clicking Skip the Month in your showroom by the fifth of each month.  Apparently if you still want to cancel, you can do so at any time and there is no cancellation fee.

The only thing that bothers me about the website is the fact that it works on a direct debit format so if you are rubbish at remembering things like this then the website probably isn't for you.  I personally would have to set up a reminder on my phone for every month to make sure I remembered to take a look at the site and skip that month if necessary.

I also noticed that the high heeled shoes are REALLY high.  We are talking 5 inches, maybe more.  I am a strictly 4 inches and below kinda girl (no jokes please!).

A bag seemed like the best way to test this website out because they always fit!
I have ordered the 'Trapani' bag below.  I was drawn to the go-with-everything neutral shade and the zip/studded details...

It should arrive in the next couple of days so I will update you guys on my experience and what the quality is like.

Have you heard of this website before? Does anything on there catch your eye? Let me know your thoughts!
