This week's Style Crush is the Poppy Delevigne, a model, socialite and the daughter of the head of personal shopping at Selfridges. So, right from the start, expectations are high right? I mean, you have to have a clue about fashion when your mum works in the industry. It would be easy for Poppy to wear clothes right off the catwalk and not put a second thought into it. To me, that's boring and not very imaginative and in my opinion, too many celebs do that nowadays. Real style comes from expressing your personality and individuality so how can that be possible when you take someone else's vision, don't add anything of your own to it, then take all the praise for how good it looks? Harsh but true.
What I like about Poppy is that she mixes designer with high street and vintage pieces. It takes a keen eye to shop vintage and she definitely has that down to a fine art. She works colour well and I love her off duty looks. Her hair and makeup is never overly done and she definitely subscribes to the Sienna Miller, dishevelled, 'less is more' book of rules.
